I was hoping to make this for Xmas as an alternative for the buffet. On the website it only lists it as 0 syns for EE and green, it doesnt even give a value for red but as far as I can tell its all stuff I can have, fat free cottage cheese = HEXA, then egss and free veg? Could someone confirm - and does it actually taste nice as I'll be cooking this for my parents as well

Hiya,

I've made it a few times although my version is bacon, mushroom and ham. I usually layer slices of tomato on the bottom to make a sort of base and then float a few more slices on top.

I enjoy eating it, I think it's lovely. I think the red values depend on which veg you use as the starchy veg will be green day free only.

If you're just using superfree veggies, eggs and fat free cottage cheese, there's shouldn't be any difference in the syn value.

I would use a HEa if you have some spare to add some cheddar cheese to it, gives it a much nicer taste I find.

I just mix it in with all the mixture, rather than add to the top.
