SW vs WW?

Hi there ladies and gents.

Thought i'd pop along for a browse as my weight is coming off too slow for my liking with SW :(

I really really enjoy the SW plan but I'm not as active as I used to be and now i'm lucky to lose 0.5lb a week.

My friend has done both SW and WW and she says that she likes WW better and she still lost good amounts even when she wasn't active.

Could somebody give me the jist of the diet so I can decide where I want to go?

Thanks xx

I prefer ww too. Results are much faster for me than on sw. And I hate having to cook everything from scratch.
The jist of the diet?
Basically you get a points allowance each day and all food has a points value and u can use the points on whatever u like.
Or there is a new thing where certain foods that are healthy and filling can be eaten more freely and this is a bit like sw but only meant to eat til satisfied. Others may be able to tell u more about this.

Hi Jodieboo! ThinLizzy has pretty much given you the basics- just adding you get a weekly allowance of 49 to use on top of your dailies too if you want. There's a sub dedicated to Simply Filling/Filling And Healthy and some stickies about the WW plan.

It's also a bit more convenient than SW when you don't have time to cook from scratch or fancy something prepacked like a ready meal. I'd guess it also works out cheaper because of portion control and you don't need to eat fruit/veg to make it work (obviously it's better lol, my leader recommends having your five a day and no more because of the 0 points in most fruit/veg- if you eat a silly amount BECAUSE it's 0 then you could gain- if this makes sense?). I know I spend less doing WW than I did when my mum and I did SW- she also thinks WW is cheaper too. :) xx
