I'm a big fan of the syn free roulade and i as I was tucking into a massive slice tonight it got me thinking, now I think the sponge tastes just like a sweet yorkshire pudding, albeit flat.
I wonder if its possible to make a savoury roulade omiting the sweetner and adding salt and wraping round cooked syn free sausages (Morrisons do syn free) and having it as an alternative to pastry. Has anyone else tried this? Would make a great syn free snack!!!
