Does anyone know if the weight I count is before cooking or after cooking? So 113g of blackberries, stewed without sugar count as 1 syn. I presume that's the cooked weight? Same for apples, my book says, 'cooking, stewed without sugar 113g 2 syns'.

Just trying to work out how much weight of uncooked fruit I need to get the right amount of stewed fruit, does it lose or put on weight when cooked?!

Ended up following the recipe on SW website for apple crumble but substituted some of the apples for blackberries. Baked the fruit with crumble mix on top so used raw weight as couldn't really weigh it once it was cooked. Worked out at 5 syns a portion and was worth it. Will get some total 2% to go with the rest tomorow!
