Syns working out

Hello all,
This may seem like a silly question but how do you work out the syn value for something that would for instance 95 cals, i know that 90 would be 4.5 but do you round up or down when the figure is in the middle.

95 cals is only 5 cals short of 100 but 15 more than 80 - therefore it'd be 5 syns as far as I'm concerned.

I would always round up just to be on the safe side and not go over my syns!

Yes that's true, but it's also only 5cals away from 4 and a 1/2 syns..
I probably would round up though I don't think it would make a big difference either way.

Again very true but you only need to disregard those 5 cals four times and a sneaky syn has limbo'd under your radar! I must admit I don't really play the 1/2 syn game, the odd calorie of two over 20 is OK but i'd rather round up & play safe for any value of 25+. I personally find working twixt 10-15 syns is enough for me to be able to round up comfortably.
