Hi

I started back at slimming world on Thursday 15th march, I had a weigh in that night.

When do I refresh my syns again to 105. Is it the Thursday morning or Friday morning.

Any help please xxx

Officially you have 5-15 each day, but if you decide to do them weekly, you should reset them as soon as you've been weighed on a Thursday night
 
It just feels like i am cheating. If i have the full 15 on thursday before weigh in. Then i want some choc after weigh in. It feels like i have had loads of syns in one day.

I would say start your 105 syns on Friday.

But if you do your syns daily, you could use Thursdays AFTER weigh in and solve this :) x
 
It's a bit 6 and 2 3's if you know what I mean,aslong as you don't go over your syn allowance for the week it shouldn't matter how many you have either side of weigh in.
You should start you new weekly allowance after your weigh in though.

I don't think of my syns in terms of 105 a week, but as 15 a day. When I started SW on a Monday, I began calculating syns from the Tuesday morning, so I always start my syns afresh on a Tuesday morning. Getting weighed doesn't signify (for me) the 'end' of that week's food optimising, but bed time on a Monday does.
 
I use my syns weekly. I like to have a vodka on a weekend and can sometimes go overboard. So i work out what i have had and distribute the rest to daily syns. I always make sure I have about 10 syns per day. Also, if i have syns left over I can collate them and have a treat, without feeling guilty. This way does work better for me. I have tried sticking to 10-15 everyday and i felt like if i went over my daily syns, i had kind of failed that day.

I think i am going to start my new syn week on a Friday. I dont get i from the gym and group until 9pm. So i generally just have some toast or a free mugshot and a bowl of fruit, so dont use syns that night anyways :)

I don't think it's wrong to use more syns one day and less another if that works for you. (Although I wouldn't have them all on one day as that equates to about 1400 cals!)

Also make sure you don't leave yourself so few for the end of the week that you feel deprived.

Oooh no i would never have them all in one go. I mean if i i dont have the full 15 syns in a day, i don't feel guilty if i go over another day. xx
