Wants to be a yummy mummy
Does any1 have them regularly and still lose?

I mean I plan to stay within syns in back of main book so for example chk chow mein for 7 syns. Is this something I should just limit to when I have to have takeaway like if our? Or do u think it's ok to have this once a week as long as no other syns that day?

Yes you can have a takeaway every week - just make sensible choices. Take a look at the eating out section for tips on the best options :)

Or you could try some of the home-made 'fake-away' options in the recipe forums like SW KFC, pizza and indian banquets.

You have to be careful with take away syn values because I decided to weigh my chow mein when i bought one and it weighed over double the average portion given in the book so would have been about 18 syns x

Me! I have an Indian or Chinese every weekend, never go over 15 syns so I just save them up that day.

Just finished a chicken jalfrezi about an hour ago lol.

The new books don't have any portion sizes in now for takeaways it just says per average serving.

I have just had a lamb vindaloo and boiled rice, but had a very bad few days as well under target band so intentionally wanted to gain. I know I have succeded!!!!

I have an indian takeaway most weeks. I had a chat with the chef about the best vegetarian low fat option. He cooks me a vegetable rogan josh with no oil and no ghee, he rams it full of superfree and cooks it from fresh in front of me. He infuses the spices with boiling water and it works so well. I have it with boiled basmati rice and it's a real treat.

I've lost 6st this last 12 months, if I start to struggle then I'll make changes but I'm convinced that my meal is 100% on track. And it's a lovely treat to have someone else cook for you.

If I could bottle him I would. They do bend over backwards for me. They make me 1/2 dough thin naan breads too on a naughty day.

If I hadn't ever asked he'd never of obliged. It is worth asking what they can do for you.

I regularly have takeaways just clever with what I eat.
I had Indian last night and had tandoori mixed grill (8.5 syns approx), 1 spoonful of chana massala (1 syn), boiled rice (free) and a sheek kebab (1.5 syn). I kept my syns minimal during the day and ended up on 16.5 syns plus went to the gym for 40 mins.
Now, I know I went over a bit but I also no other days I haven't had the full amount of syns and the meal was defo well worth it. :)
