Taster Session suggestions please

    Does anyone have any suggestions for what I could make for the taster session we are having at class on Wed? I have never been to a taster session before so have no real idea what to expect. It would obv need to be low syn (esp if there are lots of things to try!) and fairly inexpensive to make - January has been a long month. I really don't know whether to make something sweet or savoury, probably best something that isn't messy etc...

    How about mushy pea curry? I use all value/basic ingredients & normally I add some cooked chicken or quorn pieces - works out dirt cheap


    Ingredients:

    1 Tin Mushy Peas
    1 Tin Chopped Tomatoes
    1 Onion fried in Fry Light
    Curry Powder to taste

    Method:

    Fry the onion in Fry Light until softened. Put the fried onion, mushy peas & tomatoes in a blender & blend until smooth.

    Put it all in a pan, add the curry powder to taste & add the meat or Quorn, heat through & serve with boiled Basmati rice.
