Tesco Value Curry Sauce (in a tin)

Hi all,
Does anyone have a syn value for this? I was going to point it using the 20cal trick, but most of it is water so not sure how that works?

The nutritional info per 100g is:

65kcal
protein - 0.7g
carb - 11.1g
fat - 1.8g
sat fat - 0.2g

It works out as 250 cals for the tin but 10-11 syns seems quite high as the ingredients are mostly free food?

Just looked in the 2010 food directory .....tescos value curry sauce canned 390g can is saying 18.5 syns. Obviously this is old book and it may well of changed.

There is no free food allowance on ready made sauces so irrespective of the ingredients it will be 1 syn for every 20 calories

I had 18 syns in my old book too (2004!) and I thought that must be wrong!

OK, so thats slightly disappointing that it's 10-11 syns, but I didn't have any other syns that day so should be OK.

I saw the ingredients and thought I was on too a winner! D'oh!

Oops, my maths is wrong. I make it 12.5 syns. Won't make that mistake again! I could have had a nicer sauce for that many points! LOL

Yep no free food allowance in sauces regardless of ingredients, so will be 1 syn for every 20 calories
