Thai Chicken Curry from world of flavours book - question!

HI, I want to make this tomorrow. It uses 2oz coconut cream, is this the saame as coconut milk in a tin? or something different?

I don't think it is - I have some boxes of Pataks Creamed Coconut in my cupboard - I think I got them from Sainsburys.

It's very calorific & fatty isn't it, but the recipie is only 2 1/2 syns on EE, so must be ok

Oh, I've looked online & I think SW may have this wrong, as

Blue Dragon Creamed Coconut Block, ambient 28g

9½ Syns on Extra Easy

Original 9½ Syns

Green 9½ Syns

And the recipie calls for 50g & makes four servings, so that's 19 syns between 4, that aint 2 1/2 each LOL

Don't know what to do now........was so loking forward to making it

I would email SW directly to find the correct solutation

All I can think of that they mean coconut cream that comes in liquid form rather than blocks but I can't find a syn value to confirm this. I agree, it's probably best to err on the side of caution and syn it at the higher level until you can check with SW

There's a Thai Yellow Vegetable curry in Jan/Feb edition of the SW magazine which is 1.5 syns on a Green day - I was going to do this & add some chicken to it as a HEXB or do EE.
