The ramblings of a Cheeky Pasterfield

Morning all,

I haven't posted yesterday as I had a really busy day that I just flopped on the sofa.

I had a really positive day :) I've learnt that I like Mango and I don't mind melon.

I've made a gorgeous Tropical Smoothie for breakfast which I can't wait to have (will post pictures later)

The Smoothie is made up of

Melon
Mango
Pineapple
Banana
Almond Milk

Yesterday's menu was great too

Breakfast - Green Smoothie

Lunch - Open Sandwich with malted bread and light cheese and Coleslaw
Dinner - Homemade Lasagna (Hairy Bikers recipe)

Snacks - 1 x Hula Hoops

Drinks - Tea with 1/4tsp sugar

I've stuck with lent so 2/40 days of no processed sugar snacks :)

Well done u doing fab xx my son got my cold now and is really sleepy :(

Awww poor little man. I've got a cold so hoping I keep to keep it away from the family

Hes all me at moment so was going to happen lol xx my ears keep popping lol

Dinner changed to SW Sweet Potato curry (SW ready made meal)

My thoughts are

1) it's huge! I didn't add any rice but had I added some I would have halved it. Far too much for me

2) Too sweet - I loved the sauce but using sweet potato just made it too sweet for me

It was definitely good value for money and if you love a sweet curry it's definitely ticks the boxes

Hmmmm I've heard mixed responses about the SW ready meals, it's not something I'd go for, and I'm quite tight so wouldn't spend the money on them!!!

They're okay (only had one) but think I'll stick to M&S for more variety.

I like to have a couple ready meals for days when I'm rushed off my feet but I definitely want to rely on them

Morning all, hope you are all doing well :)

I'm so pleased 3/40 days of not having any processed sugar snacks :) I've decided I'm going to put a £1 in a pot for everyday I complete. Then I'm spending the £40 on something for me :)

Food wise I'm not 100% sure what we are up to today (hubby has come home after being away for a week) so depends what he wants to do :)

I do know what I'm having for Breakfast and Dinner though lol
Breakfast - A smoothie (recipe to be decided)

Lunch - No clue

Dinner - Indian Takeaway. Lamb Rogan Josh, Rice and Salad. I might have a meat samosa but not sure yet x

Morning all, hope you had a good Saturday :)

Yesterday was a good day. We went and took the girls to where I used to live and had lunch out.

Food wise I was more relaxed as it's the weekend so my food was

Breakfast - Tropical Smoothie

Lunch - Ham & Cheese Omelette with chips and salad

Dinner - Indian Takeaway
1/2 Lamb Rogan Josh, (no rice)
1 x meat samosa,
3 x Bombay Potatoe
1 x Onion Bhaji

Snacks - Tea

4/40 days completed with no processed sugar snacks :)

I feel shocking and my son as developed a cough xx want to curl up in bed z

I've made a lovely new smoothie. I'm calling it a Citrus Burst :)

Grapefruit
Mango
1/4 Banana
Orange Juice
3 tbsp Fat Free Natural Yoghurt

<img src="http://www.minimins.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=167282"/>

I found it really refreshing but found it sharp.

Yummy

Love the name xx sounds yummy too x

Morning all, hope you had a lovely weekend.

Had bit of a mad dash as I woke up late but kids we brilliant as they got ready with no messing.

Yesterday was really tough as all I wanted was biscuits, but I refrained and I'm now 5 days completed :) another 35 to go.

I wasn't very organised last night for myself eating, so I've made a new green smoothie recipe but in a large beaker so if I need to I can have half for breakfast and half for lunch.

My recipe is

Spinach
Pineapple
Orange
Banana
Vanilla Fat Free Yoghurt
Water

Forgot to mention yesterday menu

Breakfast - Smoothie

Lunch - McD's Happy Meal :)

Dinner - Roast chicken, dry roast potatoes, veg and Gravy.

Snacks - Crisps (a bit too many)
Slice of Bread & Jam
Tea

I felt very naughty having the crisps but that was down to eating too many. I need to make sure I dish up a portion rather than eat straight from the big bag.

Although I did have too many crisps it was still a great weekend for eating. Such a big improvement compared to most weekends.

Onwards and downwards x

The happy meal was a good choice, you still get the treat but without too mammy calories, well done x
