Thinking of Joining

Hi everyone!

I'm thinking of joining sw and would like some advice. I have done sw in the past but never really took it serious.

I've been doing weight watchers from home didnt join any meetings or subscribe online with just an app i bought for 69p and minimins. I've lost 2at 7lb but want another 18lb. I had hoped to be ar goal by this friday as i go on holiday but nevermind.

How easy is it to work out syns?

Does anyone know of any iphone apps to use?

I think i will gain weight while on holiday so think i will start when i get home.

There is a syn app but to use it you have to be a member of sw to work out syns its pretty easy and is roughly 20 cal is 1 syn but if a food has free foods in it then you need the syn calculator as the 20 cal is 1 syn only works for snacks like crisps and chocolate etc

I'm off on holiday on thurs and will continue my sw journey whilst on holiday because it is a really eating out friendly diet you just need to make a few changes when ordering meals (when I was on weight watchers i really couldn't have done ww plan on holiday)but have to say I love sw I eat loads and still the number on the scales goes down ....hope that helps feel free to inbox me for more info xxx

I'm going to florida have saved and dieted all year for it so i plan on eating all the lovely u healthy food the usa has to offer!

Think i will give it a try when i come home though. Would like to be at goal by xmas at least x

I went Florida for my honeymoon after 4 days of eating junk I felt shocking if you find it gets too much there's a place called sweet tomatoes its a fantastic salad bar with loads of tasty food that will get rid of the sluggish eugh feeling and if you like seafood the all you can eat crab house is fab nom nom nom I believe there's a good sushi restaurant too enjoy your hol I'm off to Egypt on Thursday can't wait booked it almost 2 yr ago

Thanks i've heard of sweet tomatos not sure my bf will like it tho he never eats healthy but hes so thin. The only salad he eats is the lettuce from a big mac lol. He doesnt eat seafood either an i love it and sushi so doubt i'll get a chance to go there either :(

I'm going to try not to worry about diet while i'm on hol. I'm still 2st 7 lighter than last year so its all gd!

I bet u cant! I've heard egypt is really nice, this is my first hol with my bf glad we choose florida so we'll be kept busy i'm not one for sitting on the beach all day. I think he'd get on my nerves if we did haha x

Were off to a hotel with a waterpark and with a toddler my days of lounging by a pool or on beach are long gone lol sweet tomatoes also do pizza and what not my hubby is a salad dodger too lol and there was plenty for him

Sounds great! Least u have the little one to entertain you!

I think after a few days of steaks burgers and hotdogs i'll be dragging him there. X
