As we all know fluid retention is one of pregnancy's little curses. A good 'weigh' to drop a couple of pounds instantly is to go for a gentle swim. The longer you can stay in the water the better but an hour should be long enough to see the difference on the scales. You SHOULD have to make a couple of trips to the toilet in that hour or thereabouts, and the deeper you can go the better. Basically the weight of the pool water pushes the water out your body and into your bladder and then you can simply pee it away!

Of course it builds up again just as quick but a weekly session of aquanatal should keep it at bay.
