Tooth extraction

I had to have one of my bottom back teeth removed, this was a large tooth with very big root so its bleeding quite a bit, i used the gauze given to me by dentist for 15 mins then used another one.. Do i keep puttin gauze on it or leave it alone? Its still bleeding, only got it out at 1245.. Im just scared to use the gauze to much incase the clot doesnt form xx

don't dab it too much, to be honest one of the best things you can use is actually a tampon. individually wrapped, they are sterile and absorbant. put it over or near the hole and bits down on it, or put it in your cheek. dont keep dabbing it, or the clot wont form and it'll keep bleeding.
