Using daily points to make up for a deficit in weekly points

I am on the purple plan and freaking out. I have a deficit of -14 weekly points and am told I can only roll over 4 points per day (my weigh in is Monday). I questioned the coaches that if I only ate zero points food tomorrow, without going into my daily points, why wouldn't I lose weight. They wouldn't give me a straight answer about whether I would still lose weight and just said it's so you're not depriving yourself. I wouldn't be anyway as there are so many healthy zero points food I can eat, so technically I would have used an average of 16 points a day if I did this and 33 weekly points, therefore I should lose weight, shouldn't I? I just wish they didn't baffle you with BS!
