was it the water or catch up?

Mornin all..made myself tad negative this mornin and will explain why. Haven't been feeling well which got worse. Ate loads biscuits etc at weekend, got a grip and upped my water and watched my syns tho did get to stage with being unwell that I thought sod it. My mood was rubbish etc. Anyway felt slim on wed so stupidly stupidly stood on scales and had lost 1lb. This is not my wi day. Today is and yes half pound on from last week. Is it my gluttony catching up with me or did drinking more water help on wed? Scales should be left alone and had yet another talkin too by other half. Wouldn't mind half pound if it wasn't for mid week hopefulNess. Argh
 
To be honest no one can answer this. This is why mid week weights are bad :( Weight naturally fluctuates in the week and also up and down in the day. Also its a different set of scales.

As for water, it is meant to aid water loss, however the one time I did the water challenge I only lost 1/2 so who knows!

Its only one week out of the grand scheme of things, and half a pound gain is nothing. Concentrate this week and you will probably find you lose loads as your over load last week probably kicked off your metabolism, look at is as a positive thing x
 
Thanks for replying. Guess am just lookin to vent my frustration. Dunno why as I did over eat on rubbish, suppose the wrong day scales (they are same ones) hop on made me optimistic and I do know I haven't eaten 3500 cals that are meant to be needed to gain so guess I just need keep doing it better. Had apple for breakfast as cornflakes were calling on me. Haha have good day x
 
How about looking on the recipe thread for inspiration? I have got into the habit of trying a new recipe each week, it keeps it more interesting for me as I feel other wise I am tempted to be naughty.

Or how about have the cornflakes but just a very small amount and syn them, every time I do that I find that they don't taste as great as I remembered and are a waste of my valuable syns. Or the thing I did once a couple of weeks ago that was very gross, chewed the piece food I wanted and spat it out! I didn't need it for nutrition, was just the taste I craved obviously wouldn't recommend doing this all the time but if there is something you really want and can't get it out your head well it does the trick. x
 
Aw hunny, you have learnt a valuable lesson about why sneaky peaking midweek is a bad thing. It can get your hopes up for no good reason. I'm really sorry you had to learn it that way

The weight from the eating bad food will not have shown in just a few days. The water will not have made a difference in a bad way, it will probably have reduced the gain in fact, as you tend to find that if you eat rubbish your body retains water, as rubbish food tends to have more salt in it.

You'll be fine hun. Draw a line (hate that phrase, but it works) and carry on x
