Wedding weight loss mission: Dress!

Morning!

Well showing 14.11 this morning so I am not going to get anywhere near 14.9 this week, on for a gain! Also have cake club tonight, argh!

I run a cake club in Lincoln that meets once a month, our theme this month is drink inspired cakes! My sister and I made Chocolate orange Baileys cake last night.

I don't eat dinner on cake club night and will try and only have a few tiny bits to try!!

Food today:

Breakfast
60g shreddies with 180ml milk, strawberries and blueberries

Lunch
Ham salad with ryvita and EL Laughing Cow triangles

Tea
Some cake!
 
Omg cake club sounds bloody brill!! I would stuff them all into my face. Cake is my weakness!!

Don't worry about the scales this week. Aim for 14.9 for next Friday. Sensible with a few treats and its doable xx
 
CAKE! Yeah couldn't go into a cake club meeting and stay anywhere within my calories for the day!

Just think - the gain showing on your scales isn't fat. It cannot possibly be fat, you haven't eaten nearly enough calories to gain actual fat. (I said fat alot in that sentence), which means it's probably one of a couple of things:
  • Hormonal fluctuations (ToM?)
  • Water retention due to either high sodium intake/muscle repair
  • Water rentetion to to replacing of energy stores (see my diary from t'other day)
  • OR its just you're body being normal and messing with you

Keep going and your hard work will show up soon :)

Plus think how many calories you can burn painting a room! Hard bloody work!

Food today has been minimal because of cake club, I had about 750 cals during day and that left 870 odd for cake club which I hope will cover it as I had about 1.5 slices of cake I would say (7 bite size pieces?)

Just had 2 ryvita with a bit of cheese as needed something savoury!

Yes it was a Horlicks chocolate cake! My fav was the coconut lime and Malibu cake- gorgeous! How are you doing? Can't wait to have some time next week to visit everyone's diary, this week has been loooong and stressful with Ofsted! X
 
Hiya! Ooo, both cakes sound fab! I have a slight obsession with cake...I was so happy to see Bakeoff back on tv this week (sad I know!). I bet you're glad Ofsted have gone...we have estyn who inspect schools in Wales and they're just a massive pain in the ass! :) They're enough to drive anyone to cake ;)

All this talk of food is not good...I'm definitely in line for a gain tomorrow after all the yummy food and drink at my brother's wedding on Saturday (plus the burger and curly fries I chomped today, oops!). Fingers crossed for your weigh in hun xxx
 
Morning everyone!

Well I am pleased this morning, was back to 14.9.5!! yey!! So can officially be a STS this week.

We have guests here Sunday/Monday and going to my sisters for tea on Saturday but she is making meatballs so thats ok. Just got to be careful when our friends are here what I am having. So plan is try and be as good as I can over weekend, then Monday-Friday I am off, so can have a good week at home. I am aiming for 1lb this week.

I am so glad it's Friday, it's been such a long busy week and I am so ready for some time off. Just got two nasty large workshops to get through today :(

Food plans:

Breakfast
1.5 sandwich thin
Slice ham
1 fried egg

Lunch
4 ryvita
20g reduced fat brie
30g double glouchester
1 mini baby bell
2 Slices ham, cucumber and tomato

Tea
Not sure, might be a naughty takeaway!
 
Morning hun! Well done on the STS this week! :) I'm sure with a good week you'll easily get rid of the pound you're aiming for this week. I on the other hand gained 2.5lb (fully expected this with the wedding last Saturday and the burger yesterday!) I'm not going to let it get me down though as life happens! Onwards and downwards to all of us :) xxx
 
Evening everyone!

Well had a nice weekend with our friends, although it did involve 2 takeaways and some cider :)

Anyway, have decided am just going with the flow this week, will try and track if I can on calories, but always find eating at home a little harder. I was 14.10.5 this morning so hopefully a nice steady week and I will be ok.

Food today has been:

Breakfast
2 aldi sausages, 2 smoked bacon, 1 large brown roll

Lunch
2 50/50 hovis bread
1 slice ham, 30g mature cheddar, lighter spread
Pink lady apple
Toffee crisp biscuit

Tea
4 aldi fajitas with chicken, courgette, onion, red pepper, seasoning, salsa,sprinkle cheese

Total: 1919/1670

Exercise: 1 hour and a bit gardening- 515 cals burnt apparently!
 
So I have the week off this week, I stayed in bed until 10am this morning!! Wow!! Took me ages to get off though, I have always had the weirdest problem with pain/weird sensations in my legs at night time and think I suffer with this Restless Legs Syndrome (RLS): Symptoms, Treatment, and Self-Help

Always had it since I was little, but wasn't until recently that I decided to have a look and this is the closest thing I could find.

So this week is looking like this:

Tuesday, going shopping with my sister at George in morning to find something to wear Wednesday and then tomorrow afternoon we are going for some spa treatments she treated us too a while ago. Having a manicure, facial and spray tan which I am terrified about!!

Wednesday: In the morning getting my hair done and she is curling it for me :) Wednesday afternoon we are having our engagement shoot so hopefully will have new outfit, nice hair, a bit of a tan and nice nails!

Thursday/Friday we are painting our bedroom! Can't wait for it to be finished, Friday afternoon meeting my friend for a quick coffee and Thursday night we are going to see that guy sing again, maybe some tea and a coupe of drinks.

Sat/Sun, lots of rest :)

Anyone else up to anything nice?

Also only 214 days until we get married! Also hen do is getting organised soooooon!

Evening!

Not been able to get on much this week, been back at work so busy busy!

Food ok today and yesterday, although swapped the chili to tonight and we had fajitas instead.

Food today was:
2 seeded toast, spread and banana for breakfast

1 ham warburton thin, snack a jacks, fruit fingers and special k bar

Turkey chili with brown rice, cookie crumble bar

Total cals: 1553/1670
