Afternoon All,
Just thought I'd post a quick update to share some thoughts from my first week.
Yep - this time last week I was stressing about how on earth this SW 'thing' would work! Unfortunatly I am unable to go to meetings over the next 3 months so I've joined SW online.
On the negative side I do think the SW online deal is a little 'pants'. You can't use Food Diaries to plan future days - just the current day, they don't have an online forum, you can't save recipies in to your Food Diary and the recipie search is very clumsy (i.e. some days you just want to review a whole list and get inspired!).
However - the overall plan is very good! I've been amazed at the flexibility! I've been making good use of the magazine and other recipie sources and have eaten some WONDERFUL things this past week. Made the prawn cakes from last magazine last night - YUM! And actually - when I had to eat out one night, being on an 'orange' day made it really easy. Melon for starter (although I did dribble over my OH's breaded mushrooms!) and then a steak.
So hopefully - when I step on the scales when I get home from work, they will breath a teeny tiny sigh of relieve and reflect a little loss! FINGERS CROSSED.
Am also SO PLEASED to have found this site. This forum gives SO much support and SO much information! And the recipie forum is EXCELLENT! If I have lost anything this evening, I am going to celebrate by making that gooey chocolate cake that is very low in Syns! Been dreaming of that all week!
So THANK YOU SO MUCH for all of your support and advice during the first week! And, I apologise in advance for the many questions over the coming months!
This time I will do this!!
