What a shock! missing the boat...

#1
Yesterday was my weigh in and the dress I have worn since the start is now a bit too big to wear in public...I've lost 7 stones now. So I was digging through my wardrobe for another dress that weighs nothing...lol.

Anyway. did the usual skipping past things that are still too small....then decided to try one of them on to see how far off fitting it was...and the damn thing is too big!!! So I tried on EVERYTHING Iown and while some size 20's are too tight, some 16's fit, so never, EVER go by the label. I listed some gorgeous Ann Harvey dresses on Ebay yesterday and they are both exactly the same measurements for bust and length, yes one is an 18 and the other a 24...both the same shop.

So the morale of the story...try EVERYTHING on every 2 weeks! And wearing a dress that fit you 7 stones ago is NOT a good look...lol!

And i have now got 4 dresses and 3 skirts to wear...oh, and some tops too! Till they are too big...

What fun! Thats the kind of problem we'd all like to have. 7 stones off is an incredible achievement. Well done you!

I had this problem - the ever-changing wardrobe! I kept wearing my weigh-in clothes until my trousers fell down between car and door to LLC (VERY embarrassing) then kept taking ever-smaller leggings to wear (changing in the toilet) each weigh in.

I thought I'd end up a size 12, so I bought TONS of size 12 things in the sale at Xmas (some just fitted, some were a little tight) but now I am an 8........ so nothing fits! I've given it away, but some of it has never been worn!!

Hey ho.....I never thought I'd complain about being a size 8!
