Good morning.

B: Porridge and blueberries.
L: I fancy a big fry up at the Cafe.
D: It's Friday so that'll be the pub and then a donner and salad.

Hi Ali, yes I like the paprikash. I like all my Mums recipe's . LOL

B - bacon (fried this morning, woo variety!) and scrambled eggs
L - tuna salad, babybel
D - takeaway night, so either chinese ribs, injun lamb shashlik, or chicken from the chippy (depending on what OH feels like), with a salad.

Snack - no cheese (sob!), so either pepperami or boiled egg

Breakfast - Cold Sausages
Lunch - Chicken Salad with an oopsie [if they come out I'm cooking next!]
Dinner - Steak with Curley Kale cooked with garlic and seseme seeds

Snack - Pork Scratchings

LM, those chinese ribs will be full of carbs I think!

I ask them to just deep fry them and serve them up "dry", without any sticky sauce. I've never really liked the sweet sauce anyway! I've seen them come out of the freezer before cooking & they look quite clean. Do you think they might have been marinaded in carby stuff before being frozen? It's possible, although they never taste sweet, just meaty.

Getting some Ketostix later so will see what happens the next time I have some & report back.

I wish there was a website where you can see exactly how takeaways are usually prepared in the UK (especially for Indian dishes where I suspect they often sneak lentils in without listing them).

Late brunch - bacon & mushroom omelette
Lunch - ususally skipped on a weekend but if I get hungry, a bit of salad
Dinner - grilled pork loin steaks with garlic pepper and sage; garlic mushrooms; buttered asparagus
Sugar free jelly for pud.

I was going to try the flaxmeal bread this w/e but it will have to wait until I'm definitely in ketosis. So I might have another stab at the oopsie rolls instead!

B Atkins Day Break bar (almond & cranberry)
L chicken thighs from Asda's rotisserie section
T pork chop, low carb sossies, broccoli, leek and cabbage

B: bacon, mushrooms, spoon of tin toms all mixed up with grated cheese.
L: Chili, coriander, garlic prawns with a cesar salad.
D: Chicken paprikash which I didn't end up making last night as had salmon, scallops and prawns in cream sauce instead.
1 bar at the cinema (Star Trek rocks!)

*Mornings*
Another wet and dull day here in Dunstable. Wheres the sun today?

B. Fizzy water and nuts
L. Chicken and veg
D. Fish with leafy salad.

Ive been looking on the Go Lower thread and Ive order a trail weeks worth of food. I just need something quick and at hand and this seems to be the answer. As much as I love cooking I wanted something I could grab, heat and eat! low carb which I can add my veggies to.
I will let you know what I get and how I get on.

Have a fab day, all. Stay dry!
