What are we eating today?

Morning all. Happy Easter

Today my food is

B: Exante strawberry shake
L: Exante soup - not sure what flavour yet
D: Prawn stir fry, as I didn't have that yesterday.

I shall also be avoiding the evils of easter eggs at my mum's house.

B: Grilled crispy bacon
L: Am going to my M&D's for lunch so will be avoiding obvious carbs! Just roast turkey and veg for me.
D: Not sure yet, probably cheese salad.

Sitting here watching my kids devouring their Easter Eggs :(

Mmmm carb up heaven, dark choccie, southern fried chuck, icecream...doughnut...

I feel quite pleased with myself :) I was at a wedding over the weekend, and only ate the pork (hog roast) and avoided all of the other stuff and I adored stuffing! I also eyed up some fairy cakes with buttercream icing, and still managed to avoid them. This morning the bacon rolls were handed out, and I had a slice of bacon only :) Then at an afternoon pub lunch, I only ate the steak, even though the most scrumptious looking onion rings were sat on top of it. I did drink far too much though, so know that I won't have lost any weight again this week :-((

Morning,

well done on the hog roast. Lovely stuff AnnaMaria.

I'm stuffed up with Lamb.

B: Cold lamb from yesterday with a salad.
L: Something from Jenny's Cafe.
D: I got diced poirk out, not sure what I'll do with it yet.

Shamefaced after Sat evening and Sunday's food. Children and their eater eggs!!!!!!
Was back on track yesterday.
Today:

B: scrambled egg and bacon - couldn't finish egg ( a good sign?)
L : Leftover lamb with slad
D: Homemade meatballs with stir fried veg (leeks, cabbage, brocoli)

How do you do your meatballs love?

Morning all on this lovely sunny morning.

Today for me it's:

B: Exante banana shake
L: Exante veg soup
D: Left over cajun chicken from yesterday with some sort of veg

'snot sunny here :(

Ah Jim, it's lovely here. I will send you some sun up there!

Last dregs of choccie (had another egg from the beau), some protein shakes, some vegetables (salad) and not sure about tonight...also had a giant choc muffin...feel rather sickly after that...er...

Jim, depends on whether it's just for me or for children also. Basis is mince - any sort, but lamb is particularly good for flavour, lots of seasoning, whatever dried herbs you have, an onion(sometimes) in the food processor and sometimes some chili. Do the onion in the fp first, then just add eveything else in a big bowl and mix together. Shape into balls and put in fridge for 30 mins or so. Fry in a frying pan slowly until cooked through. Sometimes I would just have them like that, or I would add a tin of tomatoes or passata to the pan and reduce until thick (maybe add a spot of white wine to it and some extra chopped onions)

I love minced Lamb, I do meat balls somewhat like that as well love.

Sarah, it's just starting to brighten up now.

Good Morning
