What are we eating today?

Have you tried the wensledale with cranberry LM?!?! It's gorgeous!! I went back to m n s the other day to buy a big version but they didn't do it. Gutted.

Ooh I tend to avoid the fruity ones because I worry about sugars, but I suppose it's in such small amounts... and I do have the onion & chive cheddar quite a bit, which is a little bit carby in itself (again, small portions though)...

Now I'm suddenly imagining loads of yummy things to do with the wensleydale & cranberry, like melted on top of grilled open cup mushrooms, or stuffed into baked chicken breasts, or crumbled and mixed with wilted spinach and egg to make little frittatas... Arrgh! May have to make a trip to M&S this weekend!

B: Cold sausages and an small (3 egg) omellette
L: That'll be a salad at the Cafe probably.
D: fried eel in mustard sauce and steamed veggies.

D: maybe a mushroom omelette
 
OK my first day back on track....
B: bacon ommlette
L: chicken and some spinach
D: pork chop with cauli mash and a large mushroom with some cheese on top
 
anyone notice that the board went down?
 
Sounds lovely, but also not sure about the yoghurt. 6.6 per 100g. 2 teaspoons - 10g so 0.066 carbs. 2 tablespoons is 30g so 1.98 carbs. So possibly no treats, unless you can spare the 2 carbs?

Is not going to happen, I've just been reminded that we are having a Kalamazoo reuinion tonight, so it's on the train the Northfield and then a chinese buffet and copious alcohol. ah well :D
 
Please tell me the chicken and jelly are in separate dishes? :giggle:
 
I'm having cajun chicken in my salad tonight - I'm not marinating, I'm just dry frying it in the spices.

B: 2 slices dry toast and a glass of tomato juice laced with Worcester and Tabasco. And Yes I do have a hangover.

It's a stonker laura, Guiness and whisky chasers. UGH! LOL, serves me right.

d - pork loins, buttered cabbage, mushrooms fried in garlic butter

Today:
B: sausage and 1 egg muffin
L: remaining 2 egg muffins with some ham and spinach
D: turkey and mushroom stir fry

Only a day and a half in and already i'm feeling SO much better
 
It's amazing what a good fry up can do for a hangover CS. ;)
 
just had an olive salad for lunch
For tea i am going make some burgers with chopped chives and spices.
