Got to lose some weight this week! Wedding dress fitting is next week
 
Good morning all,

Back on BST, but it doesn't look like summer out there. LOL

B: Left over roast lamb from Yesterday, spinach and leeks.
L: The carby cafe I suppose.
D: Chicken casserole.
 
I an feeling extremely rough today, have a really heavy cold, sore throat and the glands in my neck are swollen...no energy :sigh:

B: 2 scrambled eggs, 1 sasuage

L: Soup and half a mim

D: Prawns,avocado, chicken in garlic mayo with salad leaves

S: brie, cucumber, 1 dark rye rivita, sf jelly & cream

Drinks: sugar free squash, green tea, decaf coffee with cream

I sinned badly yesterday had a toasted tea cake with butter...that is the first time I have exceeded my carbs and now all my good work has gone to waste, that's the only thing ( other than not being to eat much veg) I do not like on this diet. Anyway am back on it

lunch- ceasar salad in john lewis(no idea over carb g, but chicken and leafy greens cant be bad)

Jim took note and am having greens with the fish tonight, I just worry I will go over my carbs so I don't put a lot on my plate. How many cups of salad and greens can we have in a day?
 
1 of salad and 2 of greens or 2 of salad 1 of greens. tbh i just count by the packet. I had bean sprouts 1/4 of pack last night , quarter bag spinah and half bag of cabbage. i couldnt and it was prob about 6 carbs.
 
I just wanted to share a lovely recipe I made yesterday. It is called chicken Alfredo.

- mini chicken breast fillets
-a tablespoon of parmesan
-2 tablespoons of cheddar
- 1/3 of a small pot of double cream (or single if you prefer)
- a drizzle of olive oil
-garlic
-mushrooms


So you fry the chicken in a tiny bit of oil with the garlic until it is cooked. In a separate pan fry the mushrooms in a tiny bit of oil. When the mushrooms are cooked add them to the chicken, stir and then add the cream. Keep stirring gently and add the cheddar and a pinch of parmesan. Serve in a plate and sprinkle with parmesan on the top. YUM!
