Ah well, I was being a little economical with the truth there Steve, yes my family does hail from St Helens, Thatto Heath to be precise, but I was an Army Brat and lived in lots of nice hot places around the world, then I joined the Army and lived in lots of nice hot places all around the world. :)

B-good old bacon & eggs.
L-just had a slice of beef spread with mustard & rolled up, lush. I'll decide what to have after I've done some exercise:)
D-stir fry with lots of green things with salmon & prawns

Lashings of water
 
Thu 26/8 - Maint
S - 2 slices mim with cream cheese
B - cheese omelette when I got to work with some lc coleslaw
L - Tuna mayo salad
D - cheeseburger pie and veggies

E - 1 hour with dogbert
W - 4 + litres and coffees
A - oops I had a voddy and coke zero last night so better stay off it today - managed to leave it alone :D

tis my first day on Atkins

meal one
rainbow trout fillet
boiled egg a tomato

meal two
2 low carb sausages
with small portion cauli mash
and french beans

meal three
couple of thin slices of ham
with a couple of babybel
and 5 olives

please feel free if anyone spots anything i'm doing wrong
to let me know :D

I tried a soya protein shake for breakfast, which was....an acquired taste. Maybe it would be better with some of the syrup you guys mention - how does that measure up on the carb front? I made it with 100g unsweetened soya and 400g water, whizzed up and put some nutmeg on top.

When I have the odd one I normally do 250 Soya Milk with 2 scoops of powder then add a little cream for richness. You could also whiz in some cocoa powder as well.

I have indulged on one (when I was on holiday and not following plan so much) that was 250 soya, 2 scoops of powder, large blob of natural peanut butter and chocolate .. very snickers like. Whilst I would strongly say it is not induction friendly I could certainly contemplate it as an emergency chocolate fix for those pesky monthly demons :eek:

S - small lemon cupcake - damn these birthdays that keep happening

A - prob a glass or two of wine but want to be up early tomorrow to go to Manchester for the day so just a little.

Really struggling to get back on the wagon, seem to have lost all willpower and when people offer me stuff I take it :( Hoping payday next Tuesday will help so I can get some supplies in!

Also just ordered the book off Play.com so maybe that will also help. How can I struggle with something that I know makes me feel better ...I'm my own worse enemy! :devilangel:

Although I did have a gorgeous bratty breakfast with eggs and some mushrooms today :rolleyes:
