What are we eating today?

Paneer is the cheese ;) it's smetimes called 'cottage cheese' but it's not really like that, more like an indian version of halloumi. I usually have paneer tikka masala where I get the cheese instead of chicken and lamb.

I think for tonight I'll get chicken and try saag paneer. Lol and yes it's very early to be thinking about curries but I have to plan!

Rosebug -
Mmmmm really like Indian food.....
A tandoori platter might be worth looking at - just check what marinade they used. Also if the Indian makes its Rogan Josh with cream rather than yoghurt that's another goody make sure you ask them not to put the tomatos in the sauce.
I try and get just cooked spinach as my side.

I'm lucky that our local takeaway is particularly good and very accomodating but I know it can be intimidating asking in a restaurant - don't forget they want you to have a good experience and so generally will try and help - they won't know unless you tell them what you want :)

Hi All,

Been a very un-Atkins weekend! The main culprits have been:
Several slices of cake + 2 pints of lager + a pitta bread on Friday
Black pudding on Saturday
Couple of bars of proper choc + several glasses of liqueur on Sunday!

Back on track today though. I'm not too bothered, I knew this wknd was going to be Atkins-unfriendly and I enjoyed eating it all :)

Have to admit that I felt a bit queasy last night tho (which also happened last time I overdid the carbs).

Today:
B: None - water only - minifast
L: Surprisingly low carb lamb and spinach curry (about 6 carbs)
D: Probably chicken and stilton with salad veg, maybe some broccoli
W: Lots
A: A couple of glasses of white
E: Not really

B- fry from the cafe
L- cheese and crispy parma ham salad
D- pork chops with chive philly sauce and some celeriac chips
S- there cream in the fridge if i do need something
W- loads as usual
A- not on you nelly
E- very doubtful :(
