What are we eating today?

Afternoon all

B - Bacon and scrabled eggs
L - Green salad, coronation chicken
D - Beef Risoles (minced steak, parsley, garlic, onion, fresh sage & parsley, mixed dried herbs, egg to bind, fried in butter-yum!) Nan's old recipe from somewhere!
W - 1 litre so far
E - Not yet
A - No

OK, that sounds good, I'll give that atry as it's the only way I like chicken.
 
Afternoon all, my second day of low carbing :D

B/L bacon, eggs and mushrooms
D thai style king prawn and veg stir fry

Maybe some celery and philly for supper or prawns and mayo depending what I fancy

l-tuna mayo lettuce/ cucumber
d- stuffed mushrooms with stilton and pesto + chicken breast..
w- 2-3 litres
 
b- half an atkins bar
l- think this is wrong...... tin of ww soup
d- turkey , egg salad
s- jelly and cream

ww soup was probably too high in carbs. also u need to avoid veggies like tomatoes , onions & carrots whic are in some soups. before u buy anything check the label for the carb content. remember 20g of carbs a day and the majority of these need to come from green veggies. if you like to have soup "baxters beef consomme" is low in carbs.
have u got the atkins book? im nearly 6 weeks into induction and i keep rereading the induction section to keep it in my mind.

l- scandinavian crackerbread thingy with pate, cucumber, lettuce piled high.
s-pepperami
d- chicken salad and blue cheese sauce
w-3ltrs
e-none, still got a poorly little princess to look after

oh b****r ............. thats annoying even got the tin out of the bin at work to look at carbs but did nt have my glasses on me!!! will drink loads tonight x

Sorry for late reply Jim, my recipe is:-

For the sauce
  • 1 tbsp veg oil
  • 1 red onion chopped
  • 1 tbsp curry powder
  • 1 tbsp tomato puree
  • 150ml/¼pint water
  • salt and freshly ground black pepper
  • a sprinkle of splenda
  • squeeze of lemon juice
  • 425ml/15fl oz good-quality mayonnaise or homemade is fab
  • 3 tbsp whipped cream
Should keep in fridge for 3 days but me being me ive usually eaten it! :eek: Enjoy x
 
Evening all. Better day today - I always have a sort of halfway day when I've fallen off the wagon and this was it.

B - two eggs
L - chicken breast, lettuce, mayo
S - tin of sardines, cheese, corned beef, little S/F bar
D - two M&S quarter pounders and cabbage with butter
S - mim with pate and boursin
W - lots
E - 3.5 mile run with club - wet and windy so couldn't be bothered doing a longer run
A - 0

I think I'm back! :D
