What do you eat when you are ill?

    I've got a rotten cold and I feel absolutely awful but on top of that i don't know what do eat

    preatkins i would have eaten a big bowl of pasta and gone to sleep.

    Today I have 3 low carb sausages I don't fell hungry but i don't know what to have for lunch/ dinner

    I need something thats easy to cook and doesn't have cream or cheese cos oh won't eat it

    How about treating yourself to some ribs from the Chinese for dinner hun, that way you don't have to cook either!

    ah but most ribs are very carby, the salt ones shouldn't be but often are I'm afraid. I hope you're feeling better today Bride.

    OMG! Why are ribs carby Jim - aren't they just meat and fat. Holy cow I've had 2 lots, bacon ribs from the butchers that I did myself and a portion from the Chinese :cry:

    most Chinese food is soaked in sugar water Caz. I posted a link somewhere, I'll see if I can find it.

    i have had ribs from the supermarket and they were zero carbs. i'm confused! :confused:

    If they say 0 carbs then they are OK, I meant the ones from a chinese FAF.

    Back to the poorly thing - how about a big plate of scrambled eggs? They have the mushy comfort food element? You can have them on toasted mim?

    Or cauliflower mash?
