What do you have for packed lunch?

    Hi :)

    Since joining a gym I have been getting really hungry during the day. I am rubbish at bringing a pack up (husband used to make mind when he was doing his sandwiches!) so I have ended up going to the nearest shop (M&S) and buying ham and things. This is far too expensive and I know I am going to have to sort it.

    What do you do as an easy but yummy packed lunch?

    Hi :)

    I just take chicken breasts with mayo and tuna with mayo and that more than fills me up for the day and I exercise too about 6 days a week :) once you're in ketosis you shouldn't really feel the hunger anyway.
    How long have you been on this for??x

    I have been going since 2/1/14.

    I am not starving hungry or anything but before I could have happily not eaten a thing until my evening meal but I am finding myself wanting a little something since upping the exercise. xx

    Oh wow, thats great and youve lost 2 stone since then? Thats amazing!!!
    I would just take high protein foods with you to snack on, tuna, cheese etc, hopefully this will help.

    How do you find working out on this diet? I find I have no energy whatsoever to do cardio and am sweating within about 5mins of starting and by the end of 30mins Im literally drenched in sweat (TMI i know, sorry) and literally the first couple of days I wasnt like it, its only since ketosis has kicked in, maybe? But honestly I find it so so hard now, but Im still going! :) x

    I seem to do well at low carb, its the only one I do well at. I do eat very few carbs sometimes though.

    I don't know to be honest because I don't know if I am just unfit to begin with! I don't think I would have much stamina if I was eating more carbs! Take it easy and be proud of any gym work you can do. Sometimes I find I am better some days than others xxx

    Same here, low carb is the only one that works for me. I have tried all others but they just seem to bloat me which is horrible.

    No I honestly think it's the no carbs that's gives you no energy.
    I used to be able to so my exercise DVDs fine with no problem then about 5 days into atkins I notice straight away, I was sweating much much more and things that were easy before were now a bit struggle. My other half studied sports science at college and he said it's definitely the fact what we don't have any carbs that our energy levels are low and all exercise will be very difficult to do. But I'll keep on going!!
