What flavours?

Hi Guys, Gonna start this asap but want some heads up on the flavours and what they are like. What seems to be the favourite amongst them. Also are the shakes more filling than the soup, bars or dessert?

Thanks :)

Mine is vanilla with a spoonful of coffee made with double the amount of water recommended.

Found the shakes more filling but the flapjacks (peanut) invaluable for socialising and for lunch in work. Ate along with a large mug of black coffee and a pint of water. Yum

Thanks for that. I can't find a pharmacy local to me :( so had a look on line at the pharmacies online and found 2. But they only offer choc whip dessert, orange cream drink, summer fruits drink and veg soup. Are any of these nice?

There are no bars or deserts on LT tfr. There is a chocolate, strawberry and vanilla shake. A chicken soup. Peanut flapjack and coconut flapjack - but you cannot call them flapjacks!!!! lol

Those flavours are the maintenance program not the weight loss program. The weight loss flavours are :-

chicken soup (personally my least favourite)
vanilla (yummy with coffee hot or cold)
chocolate (again yummy with coffee hot or cold, also can be made with peppermint tea, hot or cold)
strawberry
flapjacks - peanut or coconut - like marmite, you either love 'em or hate 'em, I don't mind them and they are get for work where I can't use a blender on my shakes. You do need to up your water intake to replace what you aren't making your shake with!!!

The chocolate can be made into a mousse but I've never tried that.

They say make with 250ml water but I make my shakes with between 400 and 450ml. This makes them last longer and adds to your water intake!!!!! You will need to experiment till you find the best quantity of water to suit you.

Your taste buds will change and you may find what you hate at first becomes your favourite!

Good luck.

Yup personally chocolate is my favourite - at the minute thats all i get from the chemist - 21 chocolate lol :)

I make mine with 300mls of ice cold water - generally i think the colder the water, the more scrummy they are :D

my favourite at the moment is strawberry with lots of ice and made up with a litre of water... i have to drink it fast to get it down in 15 mins but it fills me up and gets lots of water in :)

I always had my shakes cold - didn't want to risk redecorating the kitchen with it!!!!!!! I like them really well blended so they taste like nicer MacD ones!!!!!!

Hi I like the strawberry shakes the most and vanilla is ok - soup nice to have as it's hot but I didn't like the chocolate at all but a lot of people do so it's down to individual taste. I've not tried flapjacks but people on forum don't seem to like them much
x :):)

eugggggghhhhhhh i had a peanut flap jack on my way home from getting weighed this morning for my breakfast and i was nearly sick on the bus!! I had to wash every mouthful down with a gallon of water and still didnt finish it... euuuggghhhhhh!!

Just had my first chicken soup for dinner tonight... i recommend you stay away from these. I made it up with boiling water from the kettle but it strangely didnt feel hot at all so put it into microwave for a minute. I literally had to peg my nose and slurp it down from the bowl as spoonfulls seemed to be going on forever and i just wanted the pain over with!! Got another 2 of those bad boys to get through this week!
As for the strawberry - it was alright, i actually found it quite nice!
I am yet to try the vanilla and chocolate but will do tomorrow!

xx

Flapjacks are definitely like marmite!!!!! I quite like the peanut - as long as it isn't too over cooked - but not so keen on the coconut!

You really need to try all the flavours to see which you prefer/can stomach!!!!! Flapjacks shouldn't be used in the first week or 2 although my chemist gave them to me and I didn't find this out till I had joined this forum!!!!
