Above the rep there is a thanks thing. What is it?
Whats the Thanks thing?

The Thanks button you will see on other members posts only.
It is for you to use if you think the post is good or deserving of a Thank You.
The number of Thanks you give and the number you receive show under you avatar.
You have the option to give a Thank you on posts no longer than 3 days old...after that it does not work.
You cannot see your own Thank You button as you cannot give Thanks to your own posts.
The Thank You button was added early this morning when updating the site by Pierce.

I wondered about that! I thought I just hadn't noticed it before. It's a good idea, because so many people on here are helpful and give good advice.
