Whats wrong with me?

Guys, i am feeling a bit low.

I really feel like eating something and i dont know why. I have had good results so far, but just feel like i cant do this anymore.
I promised myself i would start to think about the reasons behind wanting food before reaching for it.
I saw some friends today and they were going for lunch looking slim and care free. I want to be them, but i just cant seem to get my mind to focus on anything apart from quitting.
I live alone and feel that maybe i am a bit bored and lonely knowing that people are out there having fun in the sun, it seems like i will never get there!
If i dont get over these feelings this soon, work will be that much harder, cos there is food everywhere all day, everyday.

Does anyone else get like this?? Also, my water intake has gone down a bit cos i think i am just fed up!

Firstly ...glug that water and you will not feel like eating anymore!!!
Yeah, i feel like this quiet alot lately...but, it will be you sooner than you think! keep your goal in mind ...go and look at any small clothes you have a imagine yourself in them... put your pre LT clothes on and see how loose they feel... i also live on my own (with 2 kids) and feel like eating when they are out or inbed or just upstairs lol fight it hun....FOOD IS EVIL ON LT ..DON'T LET IT WIN!!!
P.S If you live completely on your own ...get all the food out of your house, so you have no temptations!!!!

Hey hun, we all have bad days. I have had a pretty bad day too to be honest. I just have a bit of a stubborn streak that has kept me going. You will be feeling hungry because like you said your water intake has gone down. It's a vicious circle, but if you drink more water you will feel more perkier and you won't be craving food so much.

Stay strong hun and keep smiling. If you stick at it then one day you will be 'slim and care free'. :)

you WILL be them....but only if you stick with it until you feel more comfortable with you :)

all that lovely food/drink/bread/pasta - whatever !! will STILL be there when you're at goal !!!

don't give up - you've come so far to stop now.......

keep glugging the water, have a lovely bath, an early night, phone a friend - ANYTHING !!! just don't eat....you know you will regret it tomorrow :(

stick with it......you CAN DO THIS !!

I too live on my own (cos no one wants me;-P). And i got there I am built no differently to you so come on chin up and get yassen out more you dont have to eat to socialise xx

I think there are a lot of people here who can relate to how you are feeling. I would be surprised if everybody didnt feel like that sometimes. It is great that we have this forum so that we can all encourage eachother.

I know when I feel low, its usually cos im lying around doing nothing much and just thinking of all the stuff i wish i had and not being productive in general. There is a true saying... "Emotion comes motion." Which basically means that how we feel is normally a reflection of what we are doing at the time. When I start feeling low then I just make myself bring the dog for a walk or have a bath and put some fake tan on. And believe me sometimes I really have to force myself to do these things but afterwards... I always feel better :) So if u feel sh1t just get up and move - dance - do a tumbleover - have bath or something!

If you really cant be bothered moving then there are 2 brilliant movies on sky The Holiday and Fracture. :)

Eyekandi, we all have our bad days. I often find a good cry helps then a cup of coffee, hot bath and a good book!

Think about what you'll do when you get to target, what your first purchase will be or the first holiday you'll book. In the meantime set yourself little targets, easily achieveable ones. My first few included losing my first stone and getting my BMI below 40. I have 16 mini targets including achieving each stone and being below a certain stone as well as BMI being below 35, 30 and 25. I get a big kick out of achieving each of them. I'm hoping tomorrow's WI will take my BMI below 35 so I will no longer be Super Obese, just obese.

It works for me. I reward myself for each target, a new pair of shoes, new underwear, a manicure, etc. It gives me something to look forward to as I know I'm here for the duration as I have a lot of weight to lose.

I went for a long walk and planned out my next week, i made up back-up stories in case collegues give me any stress. I decided what my first brand of skinny jeans will be, and contemplated whether it would be ok to wear a bikini during Christmas (cant let the new body waste, even in the snow)...LOL

You guys are the BOMB!!!! i feel way better now.. ready for the new week and next weeks weigh in.
