Where oh where is the thanks button

I cant find it or see it. the only thing i see on the bottom of your posts to me is there is nothing else. no red post dots or otherwise.
HELP HELP HELP!!!!!

Maybe you need a certain number of posts before you can thank other individuals? Just an idea.

And the Thanks button won't show up on your own post, only on other people's!

Spot on minerva! I've just hit 50 posts and the thanks button has appeared. I shall test it on you...

Do you know what the difference between thanks and reputation is?

Thanks is a new feature that was introduced a few weeks ago... I'm not *actually* sure what the point of both are - I think it's just a nice way to say 'Thank you' if someone is useful. Reputation is more when someone almost goes out of their way to inspire another individual, so I guess maybe it's a more significant marker? And perhaps the 'Thanks' adds to Reputation power... ...thinking about it, there's probably a thread somewhere from the Administrator of the board explaining it all...
