Hi I have been to my doctors this week and they will pay for me to go on weight watchers and a membership for the gym on the NHS. I'm in Lincolnshire and am 14st 1lb and 5th 6in he also gave me a prescription for orlistat. I have also had a meeting with the Cambridge diet counsellor and can start that on Wednesday next week so need to decide what to do. I also am rubbish with willpower X

Hi and welcome. If you can get free gym, WW and prescription for orlistat why not try that first.

And delay with the Cambridge meeting.

I agree with Irene, if you are being given all of that stuff on the NHS (some people would kill to get those things offered to them!) then go for it, you've got nothing to lose except some lbs :D

I was on orlistat (xenical) last year and lost over 4 stone really quickly, stupidly fell off the wagon but hey ho!
There is a xenical section here where you can get advice and recipe ideas.

Good luck with your weight loss. x
