why is ww so different now??

    i did ww in 2011 and it took ages to lose weight, ive lost 3 stone on cambridge and have another 1 stone to lose. thought id try ww again but im so confused. before it was just propoints, now its healthy start, filling and fulfilled or something ....can someone provide an idiot guide to the difference in them. I want to lose weight quickly and i understand the pro points. i dont need a gentle introduction if thats what healthy start is.
    can someone help?

    Simple start is about easing into healthy eating - it's all meat, fruit, veg, wholemeal pasta etc - You get a book with everything you can have...and 2 treats a day from a list.

    Filling and Healthy is the same as above but you get 49pp instead of the 2 treats from the list.

    Also coming from Cambridge you still need to limit yourself to around 1200 calories a day in total for a few weeks initially and not use the two daily treats in the first week. Then its recommended that you dont use a lot of weeklies initially and build the amount you use up over a few weeks. Thirdly if you just want to count points after week one its 26 dailies and 49 weekly. Dailies are for healthy stuff. Any treats must come out of your weeklies.

    Have you gone to propoints or healthy start?? I'm glad to see you lost on ww after Camb, that's something which worries me

    I just did propoints from the start - 26 a day and didnt use any weeklies or activity points for the first week. Im gradually upping my points to include more than the 26 but I was initally off plan as I was away for the weekend but ive been in hospital for the last few days unexpectedly and it was difficult to keep to plan when you're been fed high calorie comfot food every 3 hours.

    So I've officially joined ww today and already stressing about what to buy at my food shop. Think I'll stock up on bubbles like rivita thins, cream cheese, and snack a jack. I'm finishing off my Cambridge packs and I'm sure I read somewhere they are 4 pp each

    Yes, they are 4pp each and 5pp for the bars of you have any left. My shakes are languishing in the press at the moment. I was still hungry after them so I was eating a meal too and doubling up on my points so the shakes got the heave ho for the moment.

    Quick q for you re cambridge, did you step out or just move, and what step did you leave cd on, I came of ss / ss+ on sunday and need on pp today or go back on ss to step out.

    Regarding the shakes, when I did ww previously, I used to make a slim fast shake up, wack in a 1pp yoghurt and some fruit and blitz it. Thickens it up and makes it filling. Part of my email to cdc was asking if she will still stock me shakes heh, slimfast shakes are 6pp and contain double the carbs ;)

    I did slim and save which is the same thing. I literally switched from one to the other and had no problems. I am absolutely loving WW so glad I switched!

    I switched from SS+ and used some shakes and pp'd them. Ive loads left but im allergic to them these days.

    I left on step 3 but tbh, I didn't really stick to it. I did it for a week but started cheating so I thought enoughs enough, so joined ww

    'Simply Filling'
    Filling & Healthy'

    Pick the one for the year you joined ha ha ha ha
