Working out PP in recipes

Hi can any one help with this one. I am doing WWPP alone at home, and I often use Myfitnespal to work out the NI on recipes as it has a recipe builder. But it occurred to me this morning, that I have been putting in all the ingredients then working out the PP from the NI information I get when I create the recipe, but should I actually be taking out the zero pointed food and only point whats left?

Hello,

I'd say yes work out the PP only for non free foods. But keep an eye on the amount of free food going in in case they are of such a quantity that they actually need to be counted. Some things are free for a certain amount but have PP for anything over that.

Yes it makes perfect sense, and I thought that would be the answer but thought best to check for the exact reason you said, thats very much
