Yo-yo Maggie

Well done maggie! I have more or less been a hermit for 6 months but I am single so it's easier. I haven't done SS+ except I did have 4 packs on some days in the first few weeks and it didn't make much difference. SS+ is only about 650 cals so I don't think the odd day would make much difference.

Thanks Daisy, that makes me feel better.

Well done on your 6lbs!! That's fab xx
How are you finding the second week now?

Thank you miniS. I am doing well. It helps that I'm keeping busy. I have some course work that is due soon so that has been taking up most of the day. I've been drinking my water and not thinking about food.

How about you? Are you fasting?

Lol Im doing coursework too...........what are you studying maggie?

I am taking two courses, both are in the area of teaching reading. I teach 3rd grade (8yr olds). We are required in Wisconsin (each state is different) to take 2 courses every five years to keep our Teaching Liscense. Whay age/subject do you teach?

Hi

I am a Vice Principal in a secondary school 11yrs - 18yrs. My specialism teaching subject is Business, ICT and Enterprise :) wow they dont make us do that !

V.P.?! So you are a leader in your real life too...Lol..not just on this forum....Lol Good for you, that can be a tricky age group.

Over the last few months I have noticed that there are quite a few teachers on the forum - I wonder whether it is coincidence or a link between cd and teaching - maybe a liking for strict regimes!

Haha....I agree...I think there is a liitle bit of a "control freak" in most teachers. CD is defitnately a lesson in (self)control.

I think it's because most teachers don't have proper breaks or lunch breaks.

Are surrounded by piles of marking that is usually done in the evening or weekends plus all the lesson planning. All of which ofcourse must be accompanied by snacking to relieve the utter boredom of marking your 100th book or piece of coursework.

Then there's the stress of course which leads to comfort eating lol

Haven't updated in a while but lost four pounds this week, so 10 lbs in two weeks! I am very happy with that. I had one meal out but made a healthy choice and did not feel tempted to over do it.

Well done - 10lbs and a meal, any meal, is good news!
I am coming to the end of my SS journey and am having fantasies about food - even cottage cheese is looking attractive!

Thank you Daisy. I am so jealous...you are near the end off SS. It seems so far off for me! How long will you spend moving up the steps?

Maggie - it seems like yesterday that I just started and I don't really understand how I got here! I have agreed with my CDC that I will go up to step 2 when I get under 11 stones. I am hoping that will be in 2 weeks as I don't think I can carry on much longer on SS. The closer I get to goal, the more desperate I am to return to normal food. Odd because the lack of food didn't bother me for months. I bought a glossy recipe book with beautiful photos - I think the name for it is food porn!
