APPLE CRISP PROPOINTS

Hi,

Technically they are pointed - 3 rings, each weighing 6g (!) are 2PP, 4 or 5 rings are 3PP, 6 rings are 4PP. For me it would depend on how many I was having. Personally, if I just had a couple of rings, instead of a raw apple, and I knew they had been dried with no sugar added, then I probably wouldn't count them, as long as I was still getting some other fruit and veg in to my meals that day. I sometimes squeeze an orange and just have the fresh juice with a meal, and I count that as a zero points orange. If I was having the juice of several oranges or juice from a carton, then I would point it.

I know that isn't the official WW line, which would be to count it, but I think it's all about a lifestyle change for me, and I feel it's a common sense approach, for me at least. If on the other hand you can't stop at a couple of rings, then it would be wiser to decide 'these are counted' if it would help you with portion control.

Hope that makes sense! The short answer is 'Yep, they are pointed, but I'm a very naughty girl!' :D

They are definitely not 0pp. It's to do with how your body processes and breaks them down. Dried fruit is different to regular fruit. Sorry - but you do need to point them.
