Advice. Should I? Shouldn't I?

Hi guys.

I'm currently working on pro points from home and have 29 daily points.
I've only been doing it since the 10th April
Today I had 3pp left over and I've decided to have a packet of ice cream chewits - my absolute favourite flavour.

However, halfway through the packet I've realised I'm not really enjoying them and I feel guilty eating them even though they're within my daily allowance (not even looking into the points I earned through an hour down the gym this morning and an hour's aquafit this evening, nor my weeklies - although I'm trying to stay away from using them at all if possible, which is working so far).

Even though I've stopped eating them, the half packet is sitting there nagging me to eat them and I won't be satisfied until I have done. But I'll probably still feel guilty after doing so.

So basically, I'm asking, what would you do?

Am I right to feel guilty, or should I just get over it because it's in my daily allowance?
Should I ignore them or should I finish the packet?
 
You're totally within your points so you can eat them if you want, or you can choose something a bit more healthier to ease the guilt. Its up to you. My leader always says to eat all your points incuding the ones earned from exercise but i findit hard to as i feel guilty! But then it can lead to binges if you feel hungry.

So basically go for it if you want to!

I'm not feeling hungry, and so far my 29 points has been plenty to keep me from feeling hungry towards the end of the evening.
I try and keep about half my points for the evening, which will include my tea and any late evening snacks (as I tend to have my tea around 6).
Today's the first time I've been able to eat all my points (well, kinda, the chewits are still there nagging at me) as I've just felt too full to eat anymore.
Not full the extent of feeling stuffed, just feeling satisfied and not wanting to eat anymore.
But I've only been missing 1 or 2 points each day.

I think I'm just going to end up eating them or else they'll nag in my mind.

I ate them.

And actually, after hearing someone else tell me I'm allowed them, I seemed to enjoy them a bit more.

Appreciate you've already eaten them, but just thought I'd add... Whenever I want something, like sweets or whatever, I can't get it out of my head until I've had it! Like some days I just want chocolate of some variety and I can go weeks just craving it, and then when I've had it I forget it completely.

Anyway, what I'm trying to say is, if you have the points and there is something you want, go for it and satisfy the craving. And if its within points then there is no need to feel guilt whatsoever!

It's exactly how I was getting with them sitting next to me, which is why I ate them.

It's just the first time since tracking points on wednesday that I've had something really "naughty" and it just felt like I was ruin the week's worth of effort.
It's nice to hear how other people see it, and whether I was just being silly or not.
 
you can have whatever you want within your points, so dont feel guilty :) i ALWAYS use my weeklies and dailys, this week i had 26 weeklies left (how? i havent a clue) so i stuffed my fat face with a mcdonalds and did feel a little guilty, BUT if its in our points,WE ARE ALLOWED - thats the beauty of pro points. :)

I'm probably just still trying to get into the mind set that nothing is off limits and I can eat whatever takes my fancy as long as it's in my allowance.

Hopefully this thread with help other newbies when they feel similar.

I always allow for a little treat in the evenings. I've just bought some mini twixes that are 3pp each from asda so I will have one of those later, just to get my chocolate fix!
 
Ooo going to asda in a min and mini twixes sound yummy!

I have a problem with stopping eating... Never quite sure where I should stop so if I'd have had that feeling I probably wouldn't have eaten them on this plan but as people have said you are allowed if you want to! So well done you for acknowledging you feelings about them, taking control and making an informed decision!

Yeah... it's nice to be able to hear from others how they'd feel in the situation.
And it seems like I was just worrying about nothing.
But it's the best thing about this site - you can post questions and problems and everyone is there to support you and give their views and nobody judges =)
 
As far as chocolate treats go, I always hit the curly wurly for just 3pp!! Because they are so chewy they last longer too lol... So very good! :)
 
I would of ate them to, within your point then eat! Ha
 
I weighed myself this morning and have lost 2lb since last wednesday.
So even with my fretting over the chewits, I still lost.
So yay =)
