Got a date to go from my endoscopy. Two weeks today... not allowed to take any medication for next two weeks though so looking forward to an uncomfortable couple of weeks, again. :(

Doesn't that look like a good day? Shame I didn't follow it through and had a bowl of chips instead of fish pie (oven chips..but still not good :eek:) This weeks WI showed +2lb gain. :mad:


The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results

So this week I need to do something different. Because at the moment my actions can quite clearly be defined as insane.

Positives: my weight loss is still 11lb over 11 weeks. When I started this time I said I would be happy with a pound a week weight loss. Obviously I'm not, but I do just need to remind myself that that is what I said...

If I still average out at 1lb a week that would be a further 34lb by the end of December, which would put me at target. I need to not be deafeatist and give in to wallowing in self pity. And chocolate. And alcohol.

So what am I going to do different this week?

It was suggested at group last week I try introducing a mini-meal to my day. Essentially this will be a big snack at around 4pm-ish. This is because I tend to have lunch early at around 12pm and then don't eat dinner until late. Usually this will be around 8pm, if not later, and although I've been having little snacks like an Alpen light bar or similar it's not really enough and then I'm easily tempted to go off plan in the evenings. So that is what I will try this week. Along with counting syns daily rather than weekly, and taking some walks at lunch time.

Feeling quite positive today. And also feeling like I've got a lot of energy. Maybe it's because the sun is out a bit (even if it is a bit cold). Maybe it's because I'm going on holiday in 3 weeks. Maybe it's just because! :)
 
100% on plan today. Was over syns yesterday but still under syns for the week. Walked 20 minutes to shopping centre today when would usually get the bus so that was good. In short, this week all good :)
 
My sneaky peak on the scales today (yeah, yeah I know I shouldn't, but I do) showed a nice number so still feeling very positive for this week. A fair bit peckish right now and I think I'm just about decided on a bacon and cheese sandwich, a yoghurt and a banana. What I really fancy is a bagel, with cream cheese and bacon but I have no bagel (which would be 11.5 syns!) or cream cheese so that's out! lol
 
Ooh, I could have a bagel with cream cheese and smoked salmon for lunch tomorrow with salad if I have a nice syn free breakfast and dinner planned. Hmmmmm, bagel. Nom nom

Whoops. Dropped off plan a little on tuesday night when I 'accidentally' drank too much vodka.it was only supposed to be one vodka and diet coke (50 ml. 5 syns) but then nearly half a bottle ended up disappearing. I paid for out wednesday morning though.. Boy did I feel rough.

2lb off at WI last night. Wanted 3 lb really so I could get my stone award. I will get it next week! I must! Aiming for 2 lb next week.

Well, that was another week not tracking my food and not being on plan. Wonder what that will say on the scales at WI tomorrow?! :/

Haven't been to Italy before (except with a ski-ing trip with school wen I was about 12 so doesn't really count) Looking forward to it.. although I envisage it will be quite pricey!

Aiming for 3lb this week.. doubt I'll make that but if I aim high then I'll put more effort in and maybe get half that.. rather than aim for 1lb and get 0.5lb... if you see what I mean :)
