This week I'm going to try to have something different for lunch everyday. I tend to get myself in a bit of a rut having the same few things over and over (mugshot 3 days in a row, salmon salad all week etc) so if i make an effort to vary it up bit then it might seem a bit more interesting :) Having said that.. I have started this week with a mughsot and salamon salad but that's it for the week now! Will have to put my thinking cap on for the rest of the week. I am working tomorrow so need a plan... maybe i'll rustle up some kind of past for tomorrow i can pop in the microwave as the forecast is for cool and rainy, Sounds like some nice warming food will be in order! :)

I had the plot... and now I've lost it again  Why do I keep self sabotaging?! I just end up annoyed with myself.

Good to see you back Laura!

Oh no what happened yesterday?! Did you have a bad day? Today is a new day so just draw a line and start again, you can do it!

I was just in a rush at lunch time and because I hadn't brought anything I ended up grabbing a big ham and cheese baguette from Greggs, and then eating half a bar of Cadbury's choc (I don't mean one of theh12 syn small ones! :0) I then followed that through with a bottle of wine on Saturday evening, and grabbing a few unhealthy snacks along the way..

Sunday similarly ended up going down the pan. Started out with scrambled egg and smoked salmon on wm toast for a late breakfast. All good. Went to my mum and dads for tea. My mum did say she was going to do roast beef dinner which would have been fine but NO. She decided to do onion rings, pizza, breaded garlic mushrooms and other stuff... basically junk food. And then I drunk another bottle of wine.

And today... well, I grabbed a Rumblers yoghurt/granola thingy from the train station (12 syns) an dfinished off the chocolate that I half ate on Saturday (many syns). Lunch is a tuna and cucumber sandwich, and strawberries and cream (5 syns)

Basically... I need to pull myself together. Again.

Dinner tonight will be spaghetti bolognese (SW friendly) so I will pull myself together from tonight. Not tomorrow!

Well Laura you could say you had a good weekend lol! I have to say the Greggs baguette and the bottles of wine sound appealing to me!

Enjoy your spag bol tonight, at least you are getting back on track from today and not putting it off until tomorrow, that's good going

Lost 1.5lb at WI tonight. Very pleased and surprised seeing as I wasn't 100%. I usually don't get away with anything so it was quite unexpected. Photo diary to return tomorrow! :)

Woo hoo Laura, well done! Going by your stats that's your nearly at 1.5 stone, well done!

Yeah. Nearly. If I happen to get 2lb next week (which is achievable if I just manage one week 100% on plan!) then I'll get my 1.5st award. If not, well, if I get it in the next few weeks I'll be happy. :) I am really trying to remind myself that the technique I was going for this time was 'slowly slowly catchy monkey' :)

I'm the same, my weight loss is very slow but that's cos I mucked around a bit! It's taken me nearly 5 months to lose 13lbs!

I've done it before where I've gone comparitively quickly but always given up before getting to target- last time I didn't even reach my 1.5 stone shiny. THIS time I'm going to take it slowly, but I will get there this time. I think I'd rather go slowly- which allows for some off days, holidays etc. than hard and fast and not be able to maintain it... having said that- only losing a pound over a month (like I did in April and May) is perhaps a little slow for my liking  . 4lb a month is where I want to be :)

Hmm, was looking for inspirationas to what for have for tea tonight (I like this website http://www.supercook.com/as you put in ingredients and it gives you recipes and then you can always modify to SW friendly,or ignore the ones which can't be modified lol)

Anyway- kind of liking the sound of:

Chili's Monterey Chicken recipe
1x chicken breast
1tbsp BBQ sauce 0.5 syn
2 x slices of crisp bacon
30g cheese (the recipe calls for Montery jack and cheddar mix but I'm sure just normal cheese will also taste fine)

*flatten chicken breast a little, season and griddle the breast until cooked (use fry light)
*Top chicken with BBQ sauce, crispy bacon and cheese
*grill to melt cheese.
*Done

Hmm, may try tonight or just add it to the 'must try pile'

I was unfortunately thwarted in my plans to make Chili's Monterey Chicken recipe last night by my husband using up all the chicken. So I had a jacket potato with cheese and bacon instead and very nice it was too, even if my bacon was a little too crispy.
