    Motivating clothes!

Ooh River Island - yeah! My favouritest jeans in the whole wide world are from there. I don't think I'd get them over my feet atm though. A few months though... What about TK Maxx? I love that shop and they usually have some very cool clothes. I've loads of David & Goliath t shirts from there...

Right, I've really got to stop kidding myself!

We'll definitely get there - with both things :) This time next year you could have a baybeh! How exciting!

    Bought a dress.... whoops!

I love the dress! I'm so jealous of people who can expose their legs - even when I'm thinner mine are shockingly awful! When's the wedding? Has it been yet? Did you wear it?

Right, I've really got to stop kidding myself!

You've done so well already, don't worry about falling off the wagon a bit - you're only human! The bit that matters is getting back on it :) You will so lose that weight by the 1st of December - will they start the treatment then? What a fabby Christmas present :) I'm a MTTTCer on BT, been...

    Monumental Fall from grace! HELP!

I'm glad you found your cat safe and sound. It's a really worrying and stressful thing and even worse if you're not feeling too well and then when everything is bad enough and you just want some support and reassurance you fall out with H it's only natural you'll look to something else for...

Right, I've really got to stop kidding myself!

You'll have the first stone off in no time, a lot of that is probably water - it's gone on quickly and it'll probably come back off quickly too. That'll leave you with 2 stone to lose in about 9/10 weeks and a stone a month is more than doable. Is this your first appointment or have you had...

    FAO RuthG

Ooh glad it's you and it doesn't just seem like a weird question! (I'm one of the defectors - the other place is so much faster, it's like the good ol' days although still try to pop back for BT but it takes an age to load) I try not to mention CD much 'there' I still remember the arguments from...

    Motivating clothes!

Ooh yeah Topshop, they sometimes have such fab stuff in there! Good call on Agent Provocateur too, they sell some lovely stuff and I'm sure they've started doing bigger cup sizes too which is good! This is the dress I'm coveting atm.

I think I may need to go shopping

Tesco can be pretty good for nice, reasonably priced jeans (well clothes in general really)

    Motivating clothes!

Following on from the "What's your motivation?" thread I thought I'd start another about what things people are looking forward to buying/wearing when they're at a weight they're happy with. I'm terrible for 'window shopping' online and there are lots of clothes I covet atm, including a...

    What's your motivation?

Clothes mostly, I have loads of lovely things that no longer fit and I keep reminding myself how happy I was to be wearing them. Seems to keep me going. I'm also hope it'll help with TTC, had a miscarriage a few months back which knocked me a bit so hoping losing weight will help things along.

Why do our minds work like this...

Do you find sometimes the way you feel can change throughout the day too? Some hours I'll feel 'thinner' and then the next I feel really really fat. It's madness! I think that's partly how I ended putting a lot of weight back on last time I did CD - I don't think I had come to terms with just...

    First Rubbish Weigh In

A lb is still a lb so well done on it! :) If ever you feel disheartened just pick up a block of lard - that's how much fat has disappeared from your body in the past week - a fine achievement!

    Well I'm leaving CD.....

    Halfway there! New picture added!

I can't see pics yet but just wanted to say congratulations on getting halfway there - that's a brilliant accomplishment. I bet you're looking fab and based on the stats in your signature I bet the differences are amazing :)

    Worst excuse ever . . . .

:8855: Brilliant! Your friend's 'dieting' ideas remind me so much of a joke email I saw a few years back. You've probably seen it before but here goes. 1. If you eat something, but no one else sees you eat it, it has no calories. 2. If you drink a diet coke whilst eating a chocolate...

Rock Bottom...is it the right time?

I don't know your history or anything but I hope you don't mind me posting on your thread. I'm a previously successful CDer who fell off the wagon quite spectacularly and is just getting back on. I know how horrible it can feel when you're overweight and your life isn't going the way you'd want...

    Pics - Before and during!

Hiya Lyn I've not done loads and loads of exercise - I've upped the amount of walking I do, and I've kinda taken up mountain boarding/powerkiting (i'm a bit crap though + we've not really had the weather to do it much) I did go totally mad with the gym and kickboxing a couple of months back -...

    Pics - Before and during!

Gosh - loads of replies - thank you! The first picture scares me so much - I find it a bit depressing that I looked like that! That said I'm still struggling to accept that I look like the second pic - although if I look for too long I mentally add a few more stone I think and then see all the...

    Pics - Before and during!

Thank you for your advice on the weekend regarding target weights etc. Thought I'd post my before and most recent picture (I'm starting to come to terms with the before picture - it's horrible though!) before during (8 months and 9 stone later) Still quite a bit to go - but I'm on the right...

Setting a goal weight & self image (9stone weight loss so far)

I totally envy your size 10/12s! It must be a great feeling! It's also interesting to hear that sometimes you feel the same Had you spent long as a size 22? I'm not entirely sure why I settled on the original goal weight, I guess it was a weight I'd had in mind for a while, my CDC thought it...

Setting a goal weight & self image (9stone weight loss so far)

Hiya I'm a bit confused atm - I've been doing Cambridge Diet since January and have lost 9 stone stone so far - I'm starting to near my original goal weight but part of my brain is telling me to keep going (although I've discussed it with my CDC and she still thinks my original goal is most...
