    do the bars effect your loss???

    My problem was when in week 3 I started the bars I ended up so constipated that I had to come of the diet for a couple of days!! I guess they affect us all differently - but I've avoided them since! Sorry not to be more optimistic!

    You could be right about the bars - I was doing great the first 2 weeks, then had the bars during week 3 and was in so much pain had to come off CD for 2 days until all went back to normal!! So back on shakes only this week with Fibre59!

    Had dinner with friends - when to test if still in ketosis?

    Glad to see this post as it's my father-in-law's birthday soon and I know there'll either be a dinner or lunch thing, and I was worried about coming out of ketosis. My CDC said to eat sensibly and I should be OK.

    NEED SOME ADVICE....Didnt cheat but only lost a pound in the second week.........????

    My water tip - if it helps - is that I like sparkling water better than still and Asda's own brand 2L water is only 15p. So I buy 7 for the week and just keep it beside my desk and try to have it drunk by tea-time. Sounds gross - but just imagine that fat being flushed out with every sip!

    How much water per day?

    I'm not a great tap water drinker - but really like sparkling water. Found that local Asda is doing their own brand 2L bottle of s. water for 15p! So have stocked up on those and try to drink my way through one/day!

    I agree that it's really important to measure - and even if you don't have your first week, don't let that stop you! It's brill to see those tape measure numbers going down! I'm only on my 2nd week too, and lost 8 pounds and 8 inches (2 off my waist!!)
