    If they are plain they are free, if they are bought flavoured they might have a syn value. I just made a packet of flavoured cous cous for my packed lunch tomorrow. It used to be 1.5 syns but I checked it and it's now 5 syns! So it's best to check before you buy or flavour them yourself :)

    You can use lentils for almost anything! I prefer red lentils which you boil until they are a mush.     Hi Sookie :) I think the most popular website to use is Myfitnesspal. They have a phone app too that you can use to scan the barcodes of things you eat to count the calories and it works in collaboration with the website. It's all free and you can choose how much you want to lose per week etc...

    I have a day like this every week after weigh in. I basically eat what I fancy and still log my calories. I eat up to 1000 calories over my allowance and then just carry on as normal the next day. My losses have been good so far so I'm going to keep on doing it :)

    giving up shampoo? anyone done it?

    I managed about 2 weeks once, using the bicarb/vinegar combo but I don't think my hair is really suited to it. I have a lot of hair and it goes frizzy easily. I guess if I didn't want to use shampoo it would only work if I wanted dreads too.

I just count my calories on MFP and if I'm going over my fat protein or carbs on a regular basis I try and be a little more consious of making sure i'm eating a balanced diet but not to a point where I restrict myself from eating what I fancy.     Calorie Counting compared to other eating plans

    I find calorie counting much easier than SW. When I entered my food diaries from SW into MFP I was always under my calorie limit anyway so I thought I'd rather choose what I want to eat rather than being restricted. I still go to SW to get weighed and do like the way they promote healthy eating...

    Yum! Was sure I wouldn't like these as I'm not a big egg fan but they were really nice. They did taste a bit eggy but the lovely texture made up for it. I had it with kiwi and a light greek yogurt. My Son tried some and decided that's what he wanted for breakfast too!
