Italian Pasta Sauce Syn Value/Houmous Syn Value

Hi all,

I am a fresh newb and I joined SW today. I am having trouble finding the syn value of the following:

Sainsburys Low Fat Italian Tomato and Basil Sauce

Sainsburys Houmous

Would appreciate any help

I can't find the exact sauce you mean unless it's this one

Lighter Tomato & Herb Pasta Sauce, jar, 500g jar

But if you go on the 'my weightloss tools' tab on the SW site you can find a syn calculator where you can add the nutritional info and it tells you the syns.

The houmous is 2 syns per 1 level tablespoon (!)

You can work out the syn value of shop bought pasta sauce using the cals on the jar! It's 1 syn for every 20 cals! Hth x

that is brilliant advice, I had a couple of jars in the cupboard that I really didn't want to chuck out if not too bad, they are working out at the pasta sauce for the jar is 9.5 and the chilli one for the 500g jar is 14 using the method you have put. Thanks a million x
