    Advice on refeed please

Thanks - yes, I'll make sure I steer clear of gravy - I've never been a great gravy fan anyway!! I'll make sure I'll steer clear of sauces / condiments as well..... Good idea about starting the refeed earlier......will have to see whether I've reached my target by then......They'll be wine on...

That's an excellent offer - thanks again - you're a star!! Have just found out that our work Christmas Meal is on the Friday of the week I'm due to start re-feed......it's at a carvery, so at least I can choose what's put on my plate - but really could do without the temptation in the first...

    Advice on refeed please

Thank you so much Summergurl - that's really helpful, and clears things up for me......Think I'll follow your advice and stick with my TFR shakes for the first week of refeed - as I like them all! (Well, not the chicken soup, but I don't think that makes me unusal ;o) ). And thank you re the...

    Advice on refeed please

Hi Everyone, Sorry if I'm asking a question that's been asked and answered before - I've had a look through several of the threads on here, and I'm still a little confused. I've been on TFR for 16 weeks now, and still have another 2 stone to lose, however as I'm due to come off of TFR...

    Nu Pharm breath strips

Wow - you're lucky! I've had to pay for every packet!! They cost £1.49 for a pack (I've bought them from more than one pharmacy, and it was that price in all of them). You won't miss anything by cutting them in half.....they work just as well! Keep going, good luck! x

    Nu Pharm breath strips

I use them too - again from my pharmacist......I've never had hunger pangs with them. One tip is that I always cut all of the strips in half. Half a strip does just as good a job as a whole one - and they last twice as long!

    Finsh date at last!

    Starting Lipotrim - Medical Form

Jan - thank you so much for telling me about that. It's so disappointing that a company with a great product doesn't see to understand the need to good customer service, and protection of it's brand. When I spoke to them on the phone, they really seemed to care about what I was saying, but I...

    Starting Lipotrim - Medical Form

Thank you.....I was lucky, the wife of a colleague at work happens to work in a pharmacy that do the lipotrim programme, so they were able to bring me in emergency rations - so no break in the diet!! I still hope lipotrim will contact me - if not, I do intend to phone them, as it really does...

    Starting Lipotrim - Medical Form

Thanks for all your replies.....my pharmacist got worse and worse - leaving me completely without food one week, as he'd gone on holiday, and not left instructions for anyone to be able to order it in for me!!! I reported all of the problems to lipotrim (and there were many more than I've put...

Where can I buy Nuphar Breath strips?

Hi Emma......your pharmacist should order them in for you from lipotrim. My pharmacist didn't stock them, but eventually he got them in for me.....they have to order a whole box, but if the pharmacist has got other people on LT, it will be good for them too. Ask your pharmacist - they should...

    what a waste of time

Hey there.....don't feel down....I only lost 2 pounds in week 3, and felt very disappointed - but lost another 6 pounds this week, so it's balanced itself out well! Keep with it for another week, and try to look at it over a few weeks, as opposed to basing your entire feelings on just one week...

I thought I would lose more?

4 pounds is a really good loss - particularly after such a large loss the first week. You should feel really proud of yourself. I do understand where you're coming from....I only lost 2 pounds last week (week 3), and if feels so very disappointing....You've lost more in 2 weeks, than I've lost...

    Ketones/Ketosis

Hi there, From what I've picked up on in other threads on here, it seems that being in the 'dark' purple isn't really that desirable, as it actually indicates dehydration as well as ketosis. Sounds as if you're in just the right place now....good luck!

How many of you guy's exercise?

Yes, I think some exercise is a good idea - for both the skin loss, and also to assist the muscle losses that your body has due to the extreme nature of the diet. Drinking plenty of water is essential before, during and after the exercise. I'm walking regularly, swimming a few times a week...

    Spinning on Lipotrim.....

Evening everyone - hope you're all having a good week so far! I was just wondering whether anyone had tried spinning (the exercise) whilst on LT? Up until 8 weeks ago I was going to a class once or twice a week, but I was a bit concerned about energy levels, as it's quite a high impact...

    Seasoning

I wrote to Lipotrim to ask them about redbush.....not a conclusive answer, but this is what they sent me: "Rooibos grades are largely related to the percentage "needle" or leaf to stem content in the mix" Some people will have difficulty with this tea. It can slow weight loss and make you...

    Starting Lipotrim - Medical Form

Interesting to know - thank you. I just feel a little worried that my pharmacist hasn't asked anything about my medical history, or if I'm on any medication. He's only weighed me because I asked him to - he said he doesn't need to weigh me, I can do it myself......from what I hear others...

    Seasoning

I completely agree that it's a problem when pharmacists tell you diffferent things....mine told me that my redbush and vanilla tea, and peppermint and liquorice tea were fine, but I was concerned they might not be, so I e-mailled lipotrim, and no, they were definitely not ok to drink!! Argh -...

Good thinking about a quick check up with the GP - although I've never had problems with blood pressure, it doesn't hurt to check! I think the thing that scares me a little is that he didn't even ask if I was diabetic - surely you'd have to be really careful about this diet if your were...

    1st weigh in disappointment

Tootiefrootie....thank you.....and I guess it's reassuring to think if I lose this every week, how brilliant it will be. I guess I thought that the first week is the biggest loss, and then it will settle to slightly lower figures each week......but maybe not! Thank you so much for the...

    Double up on shakes??

Hi there....I've asked my pharmacist about this, and he said that it didn't matter what time you have the shakes, just as long as you have all three in a day. I'm guessing that having two at once will probably make you feel really full though, so maybe have them both this evening with as much...

Hi there, I started on LT last week, and am doing well so far. Talking to another friend who's been on LT, and reading the official site it, I understand that there's a medical form that should be completed, and blood pressure should be taken. My pharmacist hasn't asked me any medical...

    Calls of nature

Oh gosh - not a nice side effect at all! You mention the fibreclear - I've just got a tub of this from the pharmacast - can you recommend how often I should take it? Is it two spoonfuls in water once a day? I'm only on day 6, and so far I haven't had any problems with bowels.....and I really...

where do you get your lipotrim??

Oh I completely agree....you would have thought that lipotrim would have controlled the price across the board. Doesn't seen fair. I couldn't afford much more than I'm already paying
  65. Wilhelminajmd

where do you get your lipotrim??

I pay £36 a week, and so does my friend in Manchester. Surely there should be one price for this kind of product?? Doesn't seem fair that some people are being charged more!
