    Second attempt at SW

Hi, 3 stone is fantastic. I too got pretty much to target then decided to go it alone. Put weight back on when I went back to work after mat leave and I've tried lots of times since. It's a great plan and I lose well when I'm "on it" but I really struggle getting back on when I fall off! I'm...

    Just saying hello

I'm exactly the same, I have to write everything down and not just for the first few weeks. As soon as I stop tracking I stop losing. We're both getting started and got the same target. Keep at it!

    Post-holiday OMG moment!

Our hols are precious and we don't have enough of them. Hopefully you had a fab time. Won't change anything if you beat yourself up now. Best put your energy into getting back on plan. There'll be plenty of members at group who've felt like you do and if you don't go this week you might find...

    Going back to SW....please help

You could halve the quantities when you're following the recipes, and maybe save some for lunch the next day - usually loads more interesting than a salad/sandwich/etc and its one less meal to worry about planning??

Lost 3 stone but cannot get back on track!!

I was in this position too. Lost 3 stone, 10lb left to get to target, on and off with the same 3lbs for weeks. I stopped going to group (for other reasons), took my foot right off the gas and ... put a stone back on!! Been struggling to get back on it too. The closer you get, the harder it is as...

    Back to it....

Good luck. I love EE - just me but could never keep up red/green for any length of time, I like that you can have "normal" meals. It's really easy to adapt recipes to fit and it works well with eating out. And as someone else already said its important you keep up with your superfrees. I'm in a...

    Preparation Tips

I really struggle if I don't plan - when I'm being good I'll plan the whole week, not necessarily to the point of knowing what I'm having on which day but 7 meals so you can still go with what you fancy. Lately I've struggled despite planning though and I think its because I've not had a...

I threw out all my big knickers today

Congrats! I'm really noticing too. I've dropped one dress size already and am borderline with the next. My drawers/wardrobe are full of stuff that doesn't fit. I need a good clear out! I also bought some lovely new undies this weekend.

Hiya,im new....thinking of changing from WW to SW, help please :)

You used to be able to save syns. The advice changed recently - I think I read it was to stop people gorging at the weekend then feeling deprived the rest of the week and going off plan. I still count my syns weekly - I start with 105 and use them til they're gone, I use far more over the...

Extra Easy Days Extra easy only, how much lost,

I've lost 2 stone on EE. Its so much more flexible (I could never stick to red/green for any length of time) and you can eat "normal" meals. It doesn't feel like a diet and is more sustainable, you can imagine continuing to eat this way once you reach target. Give it a go :)

    Make fresh pasta

I'd love to have a go too. I thought I'd read something saying shop bought fresh pasta is synned because oil is added to stop it sticking together which wouldn't be the case if you made your own. Might be wrong and doesn't help much (sorry!) - might ask at group tomorrow

What excercise is everyone doing (if any) & is it affecting ur losses??

Has anyone had any success using a wii? I used to do a zumba class and need to find a new one, would really recommend it -...

    Chocolate mad!

Sometimes only chocolate will do! I make crispy or cornflake cakes with my favourite equador chocolate. Syns.......to use or not to use!

Use them, and enjoy them... Its what they're there for and why SW can work long term. There's no need to deprive ourselves of the things we enjoy, its about making the most of the free foods and learning to limit the stuff that's not so good for us. I use mine in cooking but mainly for treats...

Thinking about coming back to SW!?!?!?
