Excel Slimming World Record - Version 3.5

This is an outstanding tool Squiddie. I thought I was proficient at Excel, but you're wiping the floor with me! Thank you so much for sharing. Now if I could just find a food diary that will log my carb intake, blood sugar and insulin levels ... :-)

Where the bargains are at and anything else thats useful.

Fry Light (Sunflower, Extra Virgin and Stir Fry) and Salad Light (Caesar Dressing and Balsamic Dressing) are reduced £1.50 each in my local Asda. I love the balsamic dressing, not convinced by the Stir Fry, but I'll persevere and keep using it!

Six months to sexy for Christmas 2012 (27th June - 24th Dec)

I STS this week too, but not too upset as I'd had a sore throat and couldn't find any sugar-free lozenges for the first couple of days - Halls do a mentholyptus sugar free which I found in a large Asda if anyone else is struggling.

    Any diabetics here

The challenge document is great, thanks for sharing Jezzi. With all the NHS re-structuring nearly all pharmacy budgets have been taken out of the hands of the PCTs and are now controlled by the the local commissioning groups (not sure what they are called this week), who are the GPs, and each...

    ham

If it's lean with no visible fat it's free, and you can have two mini pots of the philly light as your healthy extra A, I think they are 3 syns each otherwise

    Any diabetics here

Carol, I'm amazed that you've been told you can only have two packs of strips per year, that is preposterous - for me that would mean I could only test once every 3 days which is ridiculous. I don't test frequently or sometimes even regularly, but when you change your diet or introduce exercise...

    Any diabetics here

Hi all, I'm Type two and have been taking 1000g Metformin for years plus injecting 1.2mg Victoza (liraglutide) daily for about 18 months (it's a fairly new drug for type two, not insulin). I've always really struggled with morning highs and wondered if anyone else does and how they deal with...

    scared to start

So right! I do enjoy that I finally have control - not sure it will last forever, but it's a great start! Lauren, I was scared too, but a few weeks on, I feel empowered. It's not easy, I won't win every week, but I know I'll keep trying and ultimately I'll get closer to goal. Good luck xx

    my goal

Fabulous start Nat! I joined with work colleagues too, my weight loss has been slower, but I know why (too much red wine!!) Going with workmates can become very competitive, but don't let that affect you, it's not a race and we all lose at different rates and it's sticking to the plan that...

    Holiday time :o)

You probably need someone who has maintained to answer this post, but I have life experience if not SW maintenance experience so I'll give it a go! I think this is about acceptance, forgiveness, allowing yourself time off and ultimately responsibility. Accept that the gain will happen, forgive...

    New thinking of trying

Hi Linzi_lou I was a sceptic a month ago, but some girls in my office were going to join, and I went along despite hating admitting that I needed help to control my eating habits (I've done WW before and lost over 1st), but this time I've found a determination I didn't know I had and I think...

Back on the wagon ..... Again

Hiya Emms, We can't change what we did yesterday or last week, or last month, or last year, but we can make better choices tomorrow. I've been lurking on here for a month or so too, and I've read some really interesting and inspiring threads, I'm determined that these will help me make the...

    Back to it tomorrow!

Shezam, don't dwell on the time you've been off plan, it happened, it's over. Go back to class with your renewed enthusiasm and start again, you lost so much so you know it works; you've had a blip, you're human, we all are, but you know you can carry on and get closer to your goal xx

    Flexisynning

I love this thread and I think Kim_Bee has hit the nail on the head! It's really all about taking responsibility for our actions and choices, accepting when things haven't been as planned and finding a way to move on from that. Slow and steady wins the race!

    Sypmtoms>?!!

Hi, tiredness and waking to go to the loo at night are certainly symptoms of diabetes. Are you sure that it's hunger and not thirst? because that's another major symptom - just before I was diagnosed I was driving the family insane with leaving a glass of water in every room of the house! You...

Welcome to Newbies 2013 - Say Hello here!!!

Hi, I'm in my third week and have lost 4lb so far. Found this website tonight whilst googling for recipes (so many fabulous ideas here). I joined up with workmates who are very competitive which I hate so I'm hoping to find a different sort inspiration here! My biggest problem is red wine, I...
