Skimmed V Semi Skimmed

I prefer semi skimmed milk. I have tried skimmed before and have found them watery. Any idea what the cravendale skimmed is like? I don't want to but 4 pints and not like it.

If not can you suggest one that will last longer than ordinary milk but is not watery please.

Cravendale is good but expensive. Plain old UHT skimmed is much better than most fresh ones and you get a litre for around 50p.

You do get used to skimmed milk. I thought I'd never try it, but I have been using it for years now.

Totally agree!! Always used semi skimmed before joining SW. Since then hav switched to purple one less than 1% fat it's £1.00 for 2 litres in tesco.

Only if it is The One 1% milk though. if it is any other brand or supermarket own brand it is only 250mls the same as semi-skimmed :)

Looks like Tesco purple one then thanks. I will also get some long life as stand by as one of my friends won't drink it.

I know tesco do a 2pint or 1 litre in either their own pure milk or cravendale which would be a better buy to try than the full size ones. I personally use skimmed as I tend to put it in things so don't notice too much difference and like that I get more milk. One other way to stretch you milk is to add a little water to it, that way you control how thin it is.
