hi, im ending week 1 of ss now, finding it not too bad to deal with, but finding that when i get on the scales it shows 6 off then step off and get back on it shows a different loss..... same thing is happening with my friend one minute she was showin 11lbs off the next it was only 6..... it has been warm here in the uk the last few days so presuming we may be holding water but this doesnt answer why the scales are bein so different each time...

anyone lese had this?

:confused::sigh:

Change out the batteries. If its old, get a new scale. Make sure its always at the same spot where you weighed yourself at first. Usually on a hard surface it works the best.

That's all I can come up with.

my sacles do this and i thought it was just dont to them. i have the weightwatchers ones and they change my weight so often i dont use them any more :(

Most scales will do this, particularly digital scales as they are more accurate. I have a few questions however that will help me get an idea of what might be going on.

1) What type of scale are you using? Digital vs. mechanical, expensive vs. cheapest scale?
2) Do you step back in it immediately after having stepped off? If it is digital do you recalibrate it before stepping back on?
3) Also with scales it is important where you step on it. I can easily change the numbers on my digital scale depending on where I place my feet and how I shift my weight while standing on it. I would advise paying attention to exactly where you place your feet each time and how you are standing on it.
4) Is the scale on a level floor, is it on a rug or a hard floor?
5) Do you move the scale to different locations, even a slight shift from where it was before?

It is hard to give you an proper answer about your scale without answers to these questions.
