It's not just you. I get the same. I think "Is that what I've starved myself all week for?".

But you're right. No matter how little, it is a step in the right direction. I try to tell myself that even staying the same is an investment in next week. As you know, it all catches up and comes off in the end.

    Hi Amymc86.

I am on the cambridge weightplan...are you?

I have been on it for nearly 12 weeks now and I am 3 stone down.

It is a lot of willpower and strength, but the people on here are supportive and critically constructive when we need it.

If you are just trying to do it on your own, stay away from carbs!! They are the enemy. Say hello to a lot of protein and also I like to serve my food on a side plate so I am not stacking big quanties and the plate looks full.

Anything else I can try and give me opinion on let me know.

    Kx

    Yes!

We must remember that as long as we aren't gaining and sticking to the plan we are going in the right direction and disciplining ourselves mentally for a lifestyle change!

So weigh in is over, another 3lbs down.
I have 5 more pounds to lose and I shall be in the next set of stones.
I hope next week will be a good loss but who knows.

Hope everyone is enjoying their weekend. We luckily got some sun, however the wind is kinda ruining it. Ha!

    Can't win them all.

Hiya...I'm in Bonnie Scotland too! Assuming your in the Granite City! I'm in the Best One...You are a total inspiration to us all. I feel ashamed reading how well your doing. I have only been on step 2 for 10 days and had a relapse!
You come across as one determined lady, I am sure this whole forum is wishing the best for you, silently cheering you on.
Good Luck, do not let your mum get to you! I understand what it's like! Diminishes your confidence! As you get older, you will ask yourself! WHY! Did I allow anyone to make me feel like that, never mind the one that is supposed to love me the most. Do similar to myself....Look around you......There is no one else better than you. Hold your head up high, carry on with the determination and make this whole forum PROUD of a Winner. Xxx

    Hey Hun,

Thanks for that, I was really needing that today.

Haha I am in the Granite City, however Glasgow is a 2nd home.

Don't worry if you relapse. A lot of people do. I am just in a place now that I don't really stuggle with the willpower anymore. Its just there. I hope that when I am at my goal weight I can inspire people with my before and after pictures. That is my main goal!

Yea I am having to re learn that I am worth it, I am sexy and attractive and I should have confidence. Its just very hard to look at yourself that way aftet years. But I am sure I will get close to it.

I hope you can come and chat on here and keep us up to date with your progress or even if you just need a kick up the wee behind haha.

But thank you for your kind words, they mean a lot.

    Kx

Hi Huni. I was weighed yesterday. I am 11lbs lighter than when I started. My CC has now put me on step 3. I don't have a lot to lose, I was getting nowhere before I started. I stopped smoking 20 months ago and put the weight on.
I have friends coming up from Bournemouth tomorrow, they are coming to me for dinner and drinks, I am worried!
My best friend and her husband are leaving on Sunday to sail round the world, a big night out is planned for Friday.
I am going to have to be very strong! I can cope with the meals, I'll go for fish and green salad. I am planning to drink water if my strength of will let's me. Keep your fingers crossed for me. KETOSIS.....Have you read all about it? That is the worry!
You stay strong, I am cheering you on from down here. X

I find just asking for soda water and lime is a good alternative when your out. Well, you know that CWP is working and thats all that matters.
I had the tiniest relapse today. I ate the corner off a cinnamon roll I had made, and funnily enough, did not enjoy it. I am all about the 100% and I failed you all today. I promise I will be 100% for the rest of my journey bar my b'day, I am coming off plan for that day.

11lbs is a great achievement! Well done. Events can be hard. I have kinda become a hermit since starting this diet. Let us know how you get on with Step 3 though :)
